He did not lead this team to three straight road wins. He was simply the one taking snaps. He almost lost the Washington game on his own.

The defense has played three straight stellar games. Without the defense continually bailing him out, we lose all three.

The game is different than it used to be. I put nothing into the numbers of quarterbacks in the past. All the rules in today's NFL are designed to make it easier for the QB and offenses. If those guys you mentioned played today, they would put up career numbers every year.

Let's not compare Dak to qbs who have more Superbowl wins than he does playoff wins.

Ah yes.. wins are on the team, losses are on Dak.. Sorry I had forgotten that simple equation.

All QB's need help.

Those who say otherwise either have a personal agenda or don't know what they are talking about

People here have been claiming that "great QBs find a way" and that sort of thing when piling on Dak for not lighting teams up with his guys out.. Oh and how great did Kyler Murray look without D-Hop? It's amazing how ordinary a QB can look when the receiver group gets depleted. I know the ABD crowd doesn't wanna hear it but Dak and Moore have been working on getting this whole 2 deep shell coverage figured out. It would be a lot easier if they would run the damn ball more but Kellen Moore aint doin that unless Jerry himself is standing on the sidelines screaming at him to run the ball. But I digress.

Now you're being selective. Yes great QBs find a way. No one said they manage to make it to the perfect season every year.

It's why Rodgers probably should be favored over Brady for MVP. Rodgers went into Arizona missing his top 3 WRs and won. Brady looked pretty inept last night.

Arizona didn’t have its starting QB either though

This is a Cowboys fan forum. If you don't like articles praising the franchise QB...go find a new team.

Do you know that you would get banned from the Colts board for posting crap about Carson Wentz -- A guy that that been with the Colts for half a second and hasn't even done more for that franchise than Jacoby Brissett. And this is after that **** performance against the Patriots.

Matt Stafford was throwing pick sixes like it was going out of style costing his team games -- yet go to the Rams board and post 1/50 of the garage about Stafford on that site that the moronic anti-Dak crowd posts about Dak here and you would be immediately banned. Stafford showed up yesterday.

Same could be said about Derek Carr -- Kirk Cousins -- Josh Allen -- even Jimmy G.

Yet we got people like you complaining about posts praising the franchise QB -- who last year when he was out -- this team fell completely off the map -- to firmly in control of the division and the playoffs.

Sounds like we struck a nerve. Need a hug big guy ? Come here, bring it in :)

You guys are never ending with the Dak excuses.....the denial is strong in you.

I am labeled as a 'Dak-Hater.'
@Rockport will surely vouch for my status as a Dak hater.

I am fair, though. I thought Dak played a decent game this week. I can't fault the QB for dropped passes. I think Dak has played well this year. Some ups and downs but managing the game pretty well.

Brady got shut out last night to the Saints. Dak beat the Saints. And actually scored points.

So I guess that means to you Dak is better than Brady....and seeing as how Dak lost to the Broncos yet Jalen Hurts beat the Broncos that means Hurts is better than Dak.....oh, and Dak lost to the Broncos but Derek Carr beat the Broncos....so he is better than Dak....and lastly, Dak lost to the Broncos but Case Keenum beat the Broncos so Keenum is better than Dak.

No but many of them act as if Dak should and if he doesn't then he's a bum.

Well I don't know about that. I'd never call "my" QB names or any other player on the team. But I'll always express my discontent. Just like I celebrate their greatness when they show it. I can only speak for myself but I think he plays some really bad football at the moment. I'm not saying he has to be like Rogers or Brady. But a more than a month of "slumpyness" is enough now, he can go back to his former self from games one to seven, thank you. If he waits until the playoffs, fine with me, but then everything has to click again. And I'd rather have him back a game earlier than necessary. Can't wait to post about it here too :)

In another thread someone said I don't care about winning Superbowls because I don't care or rant about Daks salary. Us people in the middle get attacked from both sides, so I'm used to that. :D

As expected some will bring up Brady's Super Bowl wins to counter the point of this thread topic. When his Super Bowl wins actually solidifies the fact that even elite QBs can struggle or have a difficult time under certain game situations and circumstances. And that even the 7 Super Bowl winning QB can have times were defenses know the exact type of game plan to shut him down or to limit his best abilities as an NFL QB. There is this notion that defenses only game plan for Dak and that they just wing it or hope for the best against other QBs.

It has been said multiple times that "defenses will take away the run to make Dak beat them." But defensive coordinators go into every week trying with stopping the opposing team's QB being their number one priority and will draw up a game plan in at least an attempt to limit the damage the opposing QB does to his defense. They don't go into a game not planning around a QB and just hoping for the best outcome. Even if some the game plans might be different depending on the the QB. All defenses try to come up with specific game plans to shut down a QB.

But, defenses have proven that even Brady has a specific game plan that's designed to shut him down or limit him as a QB. And it can work if executed right or if the correct play calling and player personeel are in place. Brady's lost Super Bowls when defenses were able to have the right gameplan to stop or limit his abilities as a QB.

This is a pretty fair assessment.. People who want to dismiss 6 drops as "excuses" don't have any credibility to me. Lamb had three of his own.. one of which was at least a 25 yard play down the field. I can cut him to slack for the one he lost in the sun but the other two were just horrid and I can't abide any idjit declaring that the drops are somehow the QB's fault. Dak was fine yesterday.. I thought the deepball attempt to Gallup was just a stupid decision given the wind. I mean it was making field goals take hard left turns yesterday.. What made him think it wasn't going to knock his deep passes down? The one deep ball that Glennon threw to Hooker? literally hooked behind the receiver after looking like a good throw when it left his hand. Having seen that I had to ask what the hell he was thinking trying to wind up and throw a deep one on the ball where he got strip sacked. That was just dumb.. He and Moore both gotta be smarter than that.

Best part of this thread?

The mouth-breathers replying by saying how great Brady is and how much better he is than Dak.

That’s the point, DUMMIES.

Even the GOAT needs a strong supporting cast to succeed.

So all the clowns who have been whining about how Dak didn’t elevate the backups when we’re missing starters and how that proves he’s not elite? Yeah, they look REALLY stupid right now and they know it.
:lmao2:

Funny seeing as how I do not remember Brady having great WR and RB groups while in NE and he elevated TB to a Super Bowl last season....but you keep focusing on 1 game.

Typical Ronald thread.

Always finds a way to defend Dak.

It's silly you are even mentioning TB12 and Dak in the same post. Dak is making 15 million a year more than Tom. Look at their stats this year.

Wait, I'll come back and bump this thread when Dak is 44. See what his stats are then. Dallas front office is the joke. They keep paying best in the league contracts for mediocre talent.

I'll defend him as well.. Dak is better than Brady right now and it isn't close.. Forget stats, if you just watch both Qb's it's easy to see that one has better skills overall and it's not Brady... Now, rogers is a different story.. At least to my eyes rogers is the best in the league by far at this moment...
