Nope. Dak is paid to win ballgames above all else.. No matter how it looks if the end result is a W then he has done his job and earned his paycheck. I'm sorry if that bothers some people but that's the reality. I watched nearly every snap of Roger Staubach's and Troy Aikman's careers.. They had stretches like this where they leaned on other parts of the team. Only in this twisted internet age would people be calling for the head of a QB who just led the team to three road wins in a row and has all but sown up a playoff spot in the process. Tom Brady has two Super Bowl rings when passing for about 150 yards and 1 TD, ironically against the Rams both times.. Ben Ruthlessraper won a ring with a passer rating of 27.6. Yet he's probably going to end up in the Hall of Fame largely because of that win. And don't get me started on Eli ".500 career record" Manning. This BS of creating narratives about the greatness of these other QBs without any context is really annoying. It takes a team to win in the NFL.. Period.. end of story. You wanna believe otherwise that's on you.. I know better.
He did not lead this team to three straight road wins. He was simply the one taking snaps. He almost lost the Washington game on his own.

The defense has played three straight stellar games. Without the defense continually bailing him out, we lose all three.

The game is different than it used to be. I put nothing into the numbers of quarterbacks in the past. All the rules in today's NFL are designed to make it easier for the QB and offenses. If those guys you mentioned played today, they would put up career numbers every year.

Let's not compare Dak to qbs who have more Superbowl wins than he does playoff wins.

Not sure how this is relevant to the conversation but ok.
When a team is missing their entire secondary it makes life easier on the QB no? Regardless of the OL. Rodgers is probably the best pure passer in the league but lets not act like his team didnt almost lose that game

So GB blocked better because the Ravens had secondary guys missing?

It is an indirect defense of Dak the Chosen One. And fair is fair: people get called out for posting articles that don’t favor Dak so posting to prop Dak up can be called out too. That was no innocent post because we all follow the Bucs so closely.

This is a Cowboys fan forum. If you don't like articles praising the franchise QB...go find a new team.

Do you know that you would get banned from the Colts board for posting crap about Carson Wentz -- A guy that that been with the Colts for half a second and hasn't even done more for that franchise than Jacoby Brissett. And this is after that **** performance against the Patriots.

Matt Stafford was throwing pick sixes like it was going out of style costing his team games -- yet go to the Rams board and post 1/50 of the garage about Stafford on that site that the moronic anti-Dak crowd posts about Dak here and you would be immediately banned. Stafford showed up yesterday.

Same could be said about Derek Carr -- Kirk Cousins -- Josh Allen -- even Jimmy G.

Yet we got people like you complaining about posts praising the franchise QB -- who last year when he was out -- this team fell completely off the map -- to firmly in control of the division and the playoffs.

We first have to qualify "drops" definition.

Are we going by the "if your hands touch it" definition or" within 3 ft of you definition". Lol

It is not a drop unless the the ball hits the player in the chest or the player gets two hands on the ball. One hand can be considered a drop if we are talking alligator arms across the middle or the player deliberately tried a one-armed catch.

We all know a drop when we see one.

Poor guy.................10-4 and your crying the blues. Brand new big contract for Dak and your crying the blues.

Also love the weak argument that Brady has "earned the right" to have a bad game because of what he has achieved in his career.

A bad game is a bad game, whether it's from Tom Brady, Dak Prescott, or a third string rookie.

No quarterback is immune from poor games or slumps, regardless of how many skins they have on the wall or how much money they make. To bash Dak while giving others excuses is just another transparent attempt to keep an agenda alive.

If you are bragging on predicting his talent then you failed miserably. You still think Dak is elite with all the overwhelming evidence he's not?
Dak is playing EXACTLY like I predicted, A 4th round QB.
I wouldn't be blessing this forum with your player evaluations if I were you.

Rogers wont play 2nd string QB's in the playoffs. :muttley:
I dont understand why what I said is so hard for him to understand. I was simply saying he was picking apart a team with no secondary yesterday. Blocking doesnt really matter. Also. He and the Packers almost lost that game (and should have) if not for a dumb call by their HC.

He lost more than 2.

Ab- suspended
Mike Evans out with injury
Fournet tried playing on a sprained foot and pulled his hamstring
The other starting wr left the game before the half.

That's 4 really good starting skill players out. Dak struggles if 1 we goes down. Can you imagine Dak with no Zeke, Cooper, CD, Gallup all at the same time?

But, but...he's Tom Friggin' Brady. Let me find the world's smallest violin to play for him.

This proves a quarterback is only as good as the team around him. Brady with no-names at receiver got shut out last night and everybody is crying a river for him. Yet all Dak got was hate early in 2018 when his top receivers were Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson.

Lets not forget that Dak did what Brady could not. Beat New Orleans.

Exactly. And while we're talking supporting cast, his receiving corps was Lamb coming off a concussion, Cooper coming off the virus, and a one-legged Zeke at running back.

You predicted our 4th round pick QB would have a 97.4 career passer rating and a 51-31 career W/L record?
