Quinn probably has at least another year left in Cleveland considering, the Browns will likely tender Anderson at a high price if he continues to play well.

The hit for Quinn would be about 6.2M over 2 years, if released this year which is doable.
The hit next year would be about 4.6M over 2 years.

And defending Quinn's accuracy, let's just say he has big issues with the mid-range ball.

I'm a Notre Dame fan and Nebraska, so other than the Cowboys my teams are being taken to task, but it will be corrected in the offseason.

Now, I never saw Quinn have any problems putting the ball where it needed to be the last 2 seasons at ND, his freshman and soph year yeah. but not the Junior and senior yr.

Those draft gurus and these so called experts, it is so many, there are only may 2 or 3 that I actually pay listen too.

its ok to homer for the guy, but he is not an elite prospect because of a few shortcomings...I saw him play alot of games, and the problems with intermediate accuracy and arm strength absolutely stood out, especially his SR yr...

I dont hate the guy, in fact like several others I believed he'd be a super blue chip talent after his JR yr...but he regressed as a SR because teams saw that he had some limitations, and now he is just another decent prospect...he may turn out to be a great QB eventually, but there's a reason he lasted as lonjg as he did on draft day

Think Drew Brees...

Rivers 1st rd draft pick. They let him sit behind Brees for a few years. Tagged Brees for another year and then let him. Easier to do with his shoulder injury.

Anderson/Quinn

Quinn having a good year. I could see them tagging him. If he gives them another solid year, as little as consistently putting the Browns in position to win, shopping Quinn would definitely be an option. But they really don't have to trade either one.

GB picked Rogers and he's backing up Favre...and they could realistically keep him. Favre will leave at some point.

Looks like a bad decision now, but ATL got some nice picks from Houston for Schaub after picking and letting him sit behind Vick all those years.

No reason to trade Quinn after only a year or even two.

You have got to be kidding me?

Quinn not accurate, surely you jest?
Ok, I've got it, you are a Notre Dame hater.

Quinn is the real deal.

I watched enough Quinn at ND to see he was not an overly accurate passer. Probably best if he is a backup for 2-3 more years before getting thrown to the wolves.

How many would give up a 1 for Quinn?
Miami or Atlanta might either one consider it but the Cowboys have no reason to give up a #1 for Quinn when we got a #1 and a #2 for him in the first place.

If Cleveland is looking to Unload Quinn this fast - buyer Beware

Rumors all year long have been bad on Quinn's arm and accuracy with Browns.

BQ is fine with accuracy as long as he has WRs who know how to catch. His SR year he really only had Smardg since McKnight was mr drop. Carlson was pretty good but injured a lot. NORS hates ND so any chance he gets to jump on a former Irish player he will use no matter valid or not. In his JR year he had smardg and Stoval (think TO lite) and that is why he had a great year (with Fasano as well). Also as has been pointed out he had a lousy O line that year (of course compared to this years line it was the Boys 92 line)
With Edwards and Winslow and the develping O line, he would do great in Cleveland. Anderson has been playing very well- will be interesting to see if he can keep it up. Mr Genius GM White for the Chargers wanted his boy Rivers and dumped Brees. I bet he wishes he had THAT one back. Crennel and Cleveland will be thinking about that particular escapade. If I were them I would keep them both and have them fight it out in TC and for the next year or so. That way you can really determine who you want to keep.

I have nothing against Charlie Weiss and ND Burma. Stop making that up.

Their program is indeed in ruins and I have serious corncerns on Quinn's ability to play in the NFL.
