Nothing says you suck as a QB any clearer then being traded for a fullback :lmao2:

Are those who insisted Dallas made big mistake in not taking Brady Quinn instead of trading the pick...willing to step forward yet?
Oh man I remember that day. To their credit, most CowboysZoner's didn't want Quinn and applauded the trade. There were some who wanted Quinn. Anybody willing to confess???

wow, the browns released Derek Anderson too. Traded for Seneca Wallace and signed Delhomme.

I bet they are going to draft a QB high. Where do they pick?

Oh the writing is definitely on the wall... They're planning to draft a QB, Clausen? (spelling)

or maybe they want a guy like mccoy or pike, etc. end of the first round . . . . perhaps they have interest in pick 27 to ensure they get one of those guys.

if jj wants to get more picks in rounds 2 and 3, another team wanting a qb is probably one of the best shots.

I don't care what anyone says here. Brady Quinn will be an above average quarterback. They had one good lineman and no consistent running back or receiver.

Before you bash Quinn, let's not forget that statistically, he had a better 2009 season than Jake Delhomme, and he was on a terrible team, while Delhomme had the best running attack in football.

This will work out great for Quinn as well. He gets back into the system where he excelled at in college, which will work his strengths.

Cleveland gave Quinn 12 games to show his greatness, on a terrible team. I really don't think that was a fair assessment. Maybe the Cowboys should have got rid of Aikman after 13 games his first year, huh?

Yet Mike Holmgren, who's made a career out of developing QB's looked at him on film extensively for a few weeks and decided he was so good that they needed to trade him for a bag of peanuts and a ham sandwich.

And please stop with the nonsense of mentioning a bust like Quinn with a guy like Aikman. Aikman's unbelievable talent was obvious from his first practice with the Cowboys. Aikman's one of the highest rated QB prospects to ever come through the draft, Quinn's a guy who was overdrafted by 3 rounds and destined to be a nobody.

The great Mike Holmgren who was stripped of his GM duties in Seattle because he could not cut it. How long can Holmgren live off of the Bret Favre success, a guy who the Packers got to be their third string QB.

Face it, Holmgren is far from proven as a GM and that is starting to show right now. I know why they kept Mangini now. They will be lucky to win 3 games with Delhome. Mangini will be the one who gets the blame when they are drafting first next year, but Holmgren will be why.

This. In my opinion, Quinn is nothing but a pretty boy playing QB. I get the feeling most of his teammates don't generally like him, and he can't take punishment. I just don't get that quarterback feel when I see him play. He doesn't have 'it'.

Holmgren went to a Super Bowl in Seattle. Favre hasn't done anything without Holmgren. Favre has lived off of Holmgren's success far more than vice versa.
