Trying to remember-anyone know when Holmgren lost the GM position in Seatle?
Dec. 31, 2002 - With a four-year record of 31-33 and a defense that ranked last against the run in 2002, Holmgren agrees to remain coach while renouncing his titles as GM and executive vice president. Holmgren also fires his defensive coaching staff.burmafrd;3308381 said:Trying to remember-anyone know when Holmgren lost the GM position in Seatle?

Face it, Holmgren is far from proven as a GM and that is starting to show right now. I know why they kept Mangini now. They will be lucky to win 3 games with Delhome. Mangini will be the one who gets the blame when they are drafting first next year, but Holmgren will be why.
