After that first one that missed who here had a sinking feeling about this relatively unknown kicker? I know soccer player in college. He has really done well since. Proud to finally have someone that I feel can make it from wherever.

This is always an enjoyable phenomenon. A perceived weakness before the season proves to be a strength.

Remember when the Cowboys were absolutely screwed after both Romo and Moore went down with an injury in 2016? The Cowboys were forced to start a rookie 4th round pick.

Remember when the Cowboys weakest position on the team was safety?

In 2022 many fans were ready to throw the season in the trash can after one game when we learned Dak would be out for several games.

And now, one of the best starts for a kicker in NFL history has come from a guy whose real game is soccer.
