55 yard kick through the center of the uprights with plenty of leg to spare.

Can't ever really count on a kicker until he's done it for years. But couldn't look any better today.

Agreed. I can get pretty excited about the kicker position but it's way to early to bring in the Champaign yet. I like what I'm seeing so far, he looks like a good find.

With a kicker though I at least wait half a season before making up my mind. Consistency is the most important thing about them.

Still, good game, I like the guy so far.

All off season folks in here were yelling and screaming for the Cowboys to go get a kicker. I DON'T TRUST HIM, WE WILL LOSE GAMES BECAUSE THE COWBOYS ARE TOO STUBBORN, IT'S THE WEAKEST POSTION ON THE TEAM, HE WILL COST US AT LEAST TWO OR THREE GAMES JUST WATCH!!!

You remember all those. It was every day!!!! Well, a couple of folks (ME!!!) said we would be fine because the Cowboys have follewed Aubrey and know what he can do and we would be fine. My favorite time was the week of final cuts and most were convinced the Cowboys were signing another kicker then. Wrong!

I know that sometimes it's hard to trust the Cowboys and the decisions they make. But this time it's was pretty clear the direction they were going and now it's really starting to pay off.

Credit the scouting department and the coaches. Remember Aubrey struggled in camp when he first got here but they saw something in him and decided to ride it out.

Now they are reaping the rewards.

He wasn't really struggling. You were just led to believe that by negative and ignorant people that didn't know what they were talking about.

Can we all rewind and remember that we said OL and K were our two biggest fears going into this season, and now Aubrey is playing like a pro bowler, and we have some decent depth on the OL? …Ok I’m still scared about the OL but still woohoo kicker!!

I hear that we have a good guard coming back soon in Tyler Smith and we have outscored the opposition 70 to 10 with him out.

I know I’m so excited for him to return and maul in the run game. The only depth I’m scared about is C and RT

This dude missed one kick in 12 games in the USFL. Last I checked the goal posts and the field are the same size as the NFL. He can kick.

He was 5 for 5. That's nothing to sneeze at. It's only his second game, so we'll see how it goes, but it is a continuation of what he showed in the USFL.
