The irony is that if the Lions don't get the ball back with 1:20 to play, his epic performance is tainted by a fumble and a drop that caused an interception. Of course, those are non-stories 1:20 later.

As for Carr: I'll say what I said about Bryant, even before seeing the NFL.com video. Carr should be pissed in that situation. I'd much rather see some helmet throwing in those situations than the hand-sitting we've seen too much of for the past 10 years.

BTW - I'd take 14 points over 329 yards on this day.

Tony Should've done what Safford does. Sling it up for Dez. He can go get it with the best of them. We've all seen it. More than several times.

What about a catch to the one-inch line that set up the game-winning TD?

Nobody in their right mind would take 73 yards and 2 TDs over 329 yards, 1 TD and 1 catch to the one-inch line to seal the game.

Sure, Dez didn't get "shut down" but he had a mediocre game. All I hear is people blaming everyone but Dez that Dez couldn't get open. The Lions have the 31st-ranked defense in the league and they were able to neutralize Dez. There's a point when a superstar has to just make things happen.

Look what Romo did against Peyton. He went head-to-head with the media-proclaimed GOAT during his greatest season and outperformed him. That earned Romo respect from everyone who usually hates on him. Dez was in the same boat. A top receiver going up against the best in the league. Dez didn't have to outperform Megatron but he should have at least put up a fight.

He should be crying. Not only was he abused in coverage, he wiffed on tackles. He had Megatron around the waist on the 80 yard catch and run and he just swatted at the ball instead of bring him down. it's like he didn't want to tackle the whole game. 14 catches! Every catch on film Carr is 3-4 yards behind Calvin. ***?

Reality check for Carr. You aren't all that.
