Brandon Carr explodes on sidelines also?

Megatron said he was in single coverage all day. There is not a CB in this league that can cover him single coverage all day. Who ever came up with that game plan should be tarred and feathered. You DOUBLE megatron every single play and dare them to beat you with the other receivers. I wouldnt of even used a safety I would of had to CB's on him all day long. and maybe a safety in deep coverage also. You cant let megatron get away with that. I will bet ya right now no other team this entire year has or will try and play megatron single coverage. Thats insane if what he said was true.

It's kinda funny how Megatron made the Cowboys look like a bunch of whiny girls. Dez, the WR who called out Megatron before the game, was crying because he was getting shut down while Megatron was having an all-time great performance. And Carr, the CB tasked to guard Megatron, was crying because he got abused worse than any CB in 30 years.

72 yards 2 tds and two highlight reel touchdowns at that is getting shut down?

I'm not a huge fan of Carr. Think is he really overrated for his contract but for me, these players are sick of this coaching staff, mainly Garrett. He is a pathetic excuse for a coach. And so is most of this staff but it starts with him. They put us in a position to lose, not win.

Explain to me how 5 targets 3 receptions and 2 touchdowns is shut down. Coaching, Mr. Ultra Conservative fell into the trap of not letting it be about Megatron vs Dez. The other team went to their playmaker. You saw the outcome.

Carr is a mighty fine CB. I think he falls somewhere in the 5-10 range in the NFL. I think he was worth the contract.

I, on the other hand, never bought into the Carr is "elite" threads that popped up the last couple of weeks after the couple of games before Detroit. I even saw a thread saying his play was "Revis-like".

Good on Carr too.. Nice job. I'd buy him a beer or an iced tea if I were in Dallas.. Need more players pissed off. Would be nice if the so called coach and his coaches would show something.. Not anger or anything like that, just, for once, that he knows actually what they are doing.. I do like Garrett for his control as a coach. But, he needs a stare, something.. LOL.

So I listened to the Cowboys "Break" and Carr did indeed go off while Dez had the altercation with Witten. Stated he was screaming at Garrett, then went over to Jerome Henderson and barked at him too, and then threw his helmet.

Sorry if this was already posted.

I don't blame him one bit. Carr was getting ripped to shreds on here Sunday/Monday for his game but I think if you look at the tape, he got NO help the entire game. See, Calvin's long slant RAC, his first TD, the end of the game... no one helped him. The best cover corner in history would probably still give up a ton of yards to CJ in single coverage. He HAS to be doubled, or at the very least have a safety constantly over the top.

Carr gave up a lot of yards according to the stat sheet, which makes him an easy target, but his coaching staff left him out to dry. And as a result, here we are at 4-4.

Frozen.. take it easy. You're a good poster when you talk sports.

When you resort to this garbage, you're not.

Calling people "boy", and all these extra nonsense comments.. just stop, dude.

There's no need.

You beat me to this, I started to cringe after reading the "boy" remarks. That was uncalled for.

Well look at this.....the band has formed, and is back together

Not at all, but your usage of the word "boy" was very uncalled for.

I mean, then report to a Mod, and get me banned.

I understand you are trying to show the mods you can do the job, but next time just private message them.

No not at all, just not sure why you always seem to get excited over nothing. You can try to insult other posters without using derogatory words like that.

I hear everything you are saying....and you both are really wasting your time even quoting me, to try and change it or make it "aware".

It's 2 of you....I'm sure if you both joined forces, like you did here..you guys can get me banned. So take this **** to Mod or Admin.

Nobody is trying to join forces or get you banned or whatever else you want to come up with, we simply both spoke on a poor choice of words that you used more than once to try to upset that other poster. I'm just trying to reason with you, and ask you to not use words like that. It's offensive.

According to The Break at dallascowboys.com, Brandon Carr threw a major tantrum after Detroit's last touchdown. He was in Garrett's face and he was in Henderson's face and he threw his helmet. None of this was shown to us by the broadcast. Surprise surprise. I guess your name has to be Dez to be criticized for emotion. My guess is that Carr wanted some help out there. It has to hurt a DB's pride to give up 300+ yards to any receiver. Brandon is a fine corner. I'm sorry that yesterday happened to him.

I wonder the idiot that thought it was just fine to have Carr on Calvin with no help? Carr has been the teams best CB and an insane game by Calvin doesn't change that.

I'd be upset too if none of the zone players were keying CJ all game long. I mean c'mon... If you're a deep safety and CJ is in the slot running an IN Route and the outside guy is running a streak, I'm gonna key the In route (if it's man coverage). You KEY the playmakers, you don't just go to a set zone and be dumb. Same thing happened with Brandon Marshall vs the Bears last year. Moronic defensive players playing zone just go to their "Spot" with no regard as to where the "Key" WR's are lined up and what routes they're running. Sure you can give up a big play here and there playing it like that... but it's better than giving up 330 to ONE player.

If you want to call the Defense out for one thing, and the DC really, this is it. How in the world do you allow Megatron to beat you in the last seconds of the game. How in the world do you not have him doubled up so tight, you could sneak a drop of sweat between the coverage?

That's the one thing that I think it's fair to call out the staff on.

Ok well, you could have just quoted me straight up.

But either way, you say you want to reason, ok cool. Water under the Bridge

Is there a time mark on that Podcast where they discuss this? I'm 22 min into an hour feed...

Something a lot of us are forgetting is that Carr was directly responsible for the interception and fumble by Johnson in the first half. For a brief moment, Carr had Johnson looking like a 6'5 *****. Too bad it didn't last.
