Yeah. Not really seeing Romo when I watch those videos.

Though, I'm not sure how many guys are like Romo. Romo has an extremely quick release and is basically Houdini in the pocket. Plus, when he came out of college, he was most definitely a gunslinger. This guy doesn't strike me as having much of any of that. That's not to say he won't be a good NFL QB, but it won't be as a QB in the Romo mold.

He's not very similar to Romo. He's not the athlete Romo is, but he has sufficient athleticism. He's a true pocket passer that plays very heady. He goes through his progressions, reads defenses well, and can make all the throws. He's a very smart and experienced player.

I've been a fan of his since before the draft last year. He's a very good prospect. If he has a stellar combine, it wouldn't surprise me to see him drafted in the 2nd.

I think the Senior Bowl will be bigger for him then the combine. If he practices/plays well against top talent he could be this years Garpopolo

I think this is arguably better than reaching on a guy like Wentz in the 2nd. But my late round flier/sleeper is Kevin Hogan. Proven winner in a big conference, pro-style offense. Has time to work on mechanics.

Like Hogan a lot. Would not be mad if we get him in the 3rd or 4th.

What's it going to be then, eh?

He is on my "tier two", those players outside of the top three that I wouldn't mind drafting in the fourth on. Right there with Sudfeld, Brandon Allen and Hogan.

Not a fan of a QB with tats though.

I see a bit of Romo in the pace of his ball and touch. His throwing motion can be tightened up a bit. Terrific accuracy. He's got a shot at being a real good one. He's decisive and on time.

Hogan's been so successful because of Stanford's running game. I've been waiting three years for this guy to become more consistent, but he just doesn't learn from his mistakes. I'd rather have Jacoby Brissett, NC St. Big man with bigger arm, who can create time in the pocket, or escape for long runs. He put the Wolfpack on his shoulders & back on the map this season. Watch Youtube on each player & let me know what you think.

What does THAT have to do with the price of rice? Just because Kaepernick didn't pan out doesn't mean all tatted QBs are busts...lol!

The more Jerry speaks out about our QB situation, the more likely it seems we won't be drafting one in the 1st round come April (if we're even still in position to by then). It sounds like a mid-to-late round QB seems much more realistic. With that said, this is a kid I think Jerry and co will be high on. Put up huge numbers over his career at WKU. Some scouts say he reminds them of Tony Romo. Similar size at 6'2 215 lbs. Might be a realistic option for us in the 4th or 5th round.

Feel you on Brisett!

I want us to draft Doughty so badly. I've seen pretty much all of his games. He's going to be a good one.
