Breakfast shake

I started drinking this breakfast shake Monday morning and this is my 2nd day of drinking it and I gotta tell you I feel very energized and refreshed after having it.

I actually got it off youtube from a professional athlete / health nut BJ Penn.

I havent got any of the liquid viatamin yet that he uses in this video but I used everything else.

I also put frozen strawberries in mine instead of frozen berries but either works fine.

Since its strawberry season I went for them instead and its really good.

So basically its

Oatmeal, Vanilla protein powder, Frozen berries, banana, water, and a little ice.

I wouldn't post this if I didnt feel great so soon after drinking it. You guys should give it a try.

You have any good recipes?

btw, grinding up the oatmeal in that shake really sets it off.

Im not a big fan of oatmeal so just grinding it up and getting all of its health benefits is really nice.

The one we drink most around our house has frozen strawberries, strawberry-banana yogurt, peach yogurt, bananas, , ice, apple juice, protein powder and water...

Use straight apple juice instead of water and ice and they become smoothies... It's very good and the kids love it too.
 
I usually just have syntha-6 with skim milk. I add bananas on workout days which is M-F.
I add egg whites occasionally but is kills the taste:( so it becomes a chugger.


The strawberry syntha-6 is very tasty. The banana was great at first but old fast. Chocolate is pretty tasty as well but mixes less well with other items. I add some milled flax seed about once per week.

I might start drinking them for lunch too.

Personally I like strawberries better than the berries but both are good.
 
Water, banana, 1 tbsp Macadamia Butter and two scoops of Whey Protein Isolate and that's all she wrote.

Man this is funny. I have been drinking this also for about 2 months now. My normal shake in the morning is Orange Juice, a banana, whey protein, oatmeal, ice cubes. I switch back and forth with the Milk and Orange Juice. Sometimes I throw in some low fat yogurt and flax seeds. Awesome drink fellas. I drink them 3 times a day. I use them as snack replacements Thanks Catch I know now if your drinking them I am doing the right thing.
