I was glad for the break after that, hopefully they don't add that cheese in the final season
lol, man some people just don't appreciate anything and label it with "cheese". to each his/her own I suppose.

Me too. I loved it.

really? make us believe he some how survived then show us he is half blown up and he suddenly realizes he is fatally wounded and dies, how is that realistic at all? and how is he the only one that survives for 20 seconds. seriously if he would have come crawling out all messed up that is one thing, but walking out like he is fine and adjusting his tie? yeah I just got blown up and am 5 seconds from dying but gotta fix that tie right? c'mon guys the show is great but that was just awful

"Fly" was a great episode, IMO.
How? A down-syndrome 3rd grader could have written that episode. "Walt tases fwy aww day" the end.

Realism and television are two words that do not mesh well very often. The final scene was very poetic. Gus was very meticulous in every action he took, especially when it came to his wardrobe and appearance. It is only right to have his last action represent his personality that was apparent throughout his entire part on BB.

Im hoping for a spinoff show after the completion of the season. Maybe one continuing the Jessie character. It is certainly a strong enough character to carry another show. Just seems like there are so many stories left to be told in the Breaking Bad universe.

I thought it was awesome, you know everyone when they first saw it were like "oh c'mon he can't be alive, how does he always come out smelling like a...oh god, oh damn!"

To each their own though, I can't say your opinion is wrong and you can't say mine is wrong either...because art has no wrong interpretation.

true but that is where this show has stood out, nothing up to that point has been so far fetched unless you count the airplane.

I get what his action represents I just thought it was lame

that's what I thought until the front view then I just rolled my eyes. I just wish they had done it different.

Respectfully disagree. The scene in season1 where Walt used fulminated mercury in Tuco's "appartment" was more than just a tad far-fetched.

Gus's demise was fantastic and foreshadowed throughout the season.

This shows flaws are less minor than the dfferences in purity between Jesse and Walt's separate meth cooks.

The brain is a very tricky thing.

I know someone who got into an accident, had his leg cut off in it, and still thought he could walk...

So no, it wasn't awful. It was showing his brain so affected, he didn't know what was going on.

Lol what a reply...

The brain works in many different ways, just think of concussions. You get one, and don't realize what happened and try to act normal (if your playing a sport, you try and continue) without realizing how hurt you are.

Of course in the show, they went to the extreme with that theory...but yes, the brain is a weird/tricky thing.

It's not complex at all...brain injury = not knowing where you are, what your doing.

Some people said it was an awful scene, i'm just pointing out the logic of why they did it that way.

ironic you are on this side of this argument with me in this thread and the other side in the attacker thread.

that scene was very b-movieish and not on par with the rest of the series

Haha yeah we disagree alot, not a bad thing.

It's good to have different opinions, or the world would be boring.

I liked the scene, it doesn't always have to be 100% real, tv afterall, is made to entertain people.
