Anyone watch this show?

I missed the first season but they had a marathon on Friday night so I caught the whole season.

Sunday night they had the season premier of season 2 of the show.

Pretty good show overall.

I've never seen it but I like Brian Cranston. He killed me as the dad on Malcolm in the Middle.

SoA surprised me. I didn't think it would be very good but the first season was very good. The second season will make or break it.

Is this show on the level of The Shield or The Wire. I am looking for that next great show and haven't really found it yet. Eastbound and Down is good but not on that level yet.

I really like the show.

Very good acting from Cranston and a relevant plot with believable characters all around.

Not sure how they keep it from getting formulaic but so far so good.

BTW, SoA was my favorite new show of 2008. I thought it was extremely well done. If I were looking for the next Wire/Shield it would be Sons of Anarchy.

I was never a Shield fan but I'm a HUGE Wire fan. All hail the great Jimmy McNulty. :laugh1:
