Green Bay started the season bad. I said at the time, "They're better than this. Don't write them off." I heard people write off Seattle after we beat them so convincingly. I said I expected them to win the NFC West. No way given how good the Cardinals were playing. The fact is, Seattle is the antithesis of Dallas at home. They are 5-1. We are the only team who has beat them at home. I think they will sweep the Cardinals and win their division.
Our strength of schedule this year is not impressive. No one should argue that it is. In fact, if you want the truth it is turning out to be the 3rd easiest schedule in the NFL in terms of winning % of the teams we have to face this year. Atlanta's is lowest at .443. Yet they are not a winning team. Houston's is 2nd at .443, and they also are not a winning team. Ours is 3rd at .451 and we are a winning team. Normally a winning team does face a poor schedule because they contribute so much to it. A losing team, like Oakland faces a much tougher schedule. Theirs is the only one in the NFL over .600 and .601. That's brutal. They contributed to how brutal it is by being so bad.
The fact of the matter is this, if Dallas can play Offense like they did against Chicago, Seattle, and New Orleans (who I think is way better than their record) they can beat any team in the NFL. If they do not play to that Offensive level, meaning not converting on crucial 3rd downs, not controlling he clock, not getting TDs instead of FGs, then we can lose to any team because we do not have the Defense who can shut anyone down.
Right now, if you tell me we can run against Philly like we did against the Bears and get decent pressure, I will tell you we can beat them. That is really the only thing I care about right now. How bad the Titans and Rams and Giants have turned out to be doesn't mean squat except that we beat them.
