This is a bad league. It'd be tough to look at any playoff contender's schedule at this point and not see a bunch of wins against poor teams.

The Cowboys went into Seattle and dominated that team at a time when they were high on the hog and deemed invincible at home. If they can do that, they can win in December. It's a mental thing if they don't.

I'm getting lost as to when you are being serious vs. sarcastic, lol.

When we played Seattle they were very vulnerable. They have only gotten it together very recently, and are re-emerging as favs for the west because of Arizona. I don't say that to diminish what the Cowboys did against them - it was an IMPRESSIVE win. But I am not sure I would be in love with playing the same game again.

They lost to San Diego prior but that was on the road. It was the Cowboys that slayed the dragon in Seattle and really shook the confidence of that team.

I don't think there's any legit reason to try to discredit that win. That showed character and heart and a real blueprint as to how this team can win late in the season despite such obvious flaws.

One foot in front of the other on the road you're on. That's all you can do.

I would much rather face Seattle than Green Bay, where Rodgers looks absolutely lethal at times. Seattle can rough you up, but Green Bay can put so much pressure on you that your offense and defense can't cope. Seattle will play small ball and run at you...Green Bay wants a chuck-ball free-for-all that they are decidedly more likely to win. Look at what they did to Philly and their fast-paced attack...they simply got run the F over!

The packers also have a legit defense for the first time in a while. That...isn't good.

We caught Seattle at a time when they were in disarray. They were having locker room issues and struggling. The very next week they went to St. Louis and lost there too and then lost again to the Chiefs a few weeks later. With all of that said, Seattle is getting very hot now and is starting to look like the 2013 team. Our win over them was impressive and is when we knew this team was a little different from years past, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. That is pretty much our only impressive win versus a good team and part of the reason was due to catching them at the perfect time.

I completely agree with this. I have watched Greenbay at times this year and Rodgers looked like he could throw it to any receiver he wanted to and they could score however they wanted. Rodgers is playing amazing football this year and that team is really clicking.. especially at home. Give me Seattle any day over GB. I hope Detroit can beat them the last game of the season and win the division but I doubt it.

We caught Seattle when they were 3-1 and came back to dominate them after a 10-0 deficit. I wouldn't sell that short.

No one and I mean no one gave us a chance to win that game. Oh there were a few diehards around here that believed. Prior to that game NO ONE went up there and won. When the Cowboys won they shocked the league and shocked the world.

Loss - eagles. Not better. Just hungrier. They play like it. We don't.
if you would have written they played like it it we didn't. I would have agreed
play like it implies we're not an effort team and thats not true
that game we were tired

I am hoping that all it was, that we were just tired....................now if we get our arse kicked again after a 10 day layoff, then I think it is safe to say that Philly is just better.................I guess we will find out next week.

They're all professional football teams.

At 9-4, I would say we're an outstanding road team that is dominant running the ball behind our league best o-line. Our QB is 1 of the very few that is capable of making that ridiculous clutch play in all conditions when it's needed, by getting the ball to his medley of talented skill position weapons.

We're a terrible home team that clearly plays with less tenacity and focus than our opposition. Especially in front of the bright lights of nationally televised games at Jerry's World. It just seems that the opposition wants to take it to us more than us having the pride to dominate what should be our territory. That being said, it's us beating ourselves more than them beating us. We don't get as much of a jolt under the big lights as the other teams do and it shows.

Except you do that post-Thanksgiving, not pre.

Thats BS, you do it when ever you can. Wins are to get in the NFL especially six in a row.

Green Bay started the season bad. I said at the time, "They're better than this. Don't write them off." I heard people write off Seattle after we beat them so convincingly. I said I expected them to win the NFC West. No way given how good the Cardinals were playing. The fact is, Seattle is the antithesis of Dallas at home. They are 5-1. We are the only team who has beat them at home. I think they will sweep the Cardinals and win their division.

Our strength of schedule this year is not impressive. No one should argue that it is. In fact, if you want the truth it is turning out to be the 3rd easiest schedule in the NFL in terms of winning % of the teams we have to face this year. Atlanta's is lowest at .443. Yet they are not a winning team. Houston's is 2nd at .443, and they also are not a winning team. Ours is 3rd at .451 and we are a winning team. Normally a winning team does face a poor schedule because they contribute so much to it. A losing team, like Oakland faces a much tougher schedule. Theirs is the only one in the NFL over .600 and .601. That's brutal. They contributed to how brutal it is by being so bad.

The fact of the matter is this, if Dallas can play Offense like they did against Chicago, Seattle, and New Orleans (who I think is way better than their record) they can beat any team in the NFL. If they do not play to that Offensive level, meaning not converting on crucial 3rd downs, not controlling he clock, not getting TDs instead of FGs, then we can lose to any team because we do not have the Defense who can shut anyone down.

Right now, if you tell me we can run against Philly like we did against the Bears and get decent pressure, I will tell you we can beat them. That is really the only thing I care about right now. How bad the Titans and Rams and Giants have turned out to be doesn't mean squat except that we beat them.

I know he likes Romo just fine and is generally logical in his approach...and he knows I know that.
I was giving him a tiny bit of a hard time because the illogical ones like yourself "liked" him.
You get over your self.....your stance is clear and I disagree with it.

I've always been aware of Romo's flaws and unlike some here, don't lump him with the top 3-4 QBs.

My stance has always been if we're looking for reason why we don't succeed, we can look for a loooong time before Romo's name should come up. Not that it could never come up but I consider him far more an asset than a liability.

The only guy I have on ignore is UFC , btw.
