He's ducking us to.

First Losman, now Jackson.

They must have looked at the body count from our last three games.

So... if Julius Jones out gains Jackson will people shut up already?

Well yeah, he'll actually have a chance to outrun Jackson when Jackson is on the bench.

Brian Leonard is going to get the start on Sunday.

Should be interesting. He's a little spark plug that might get the Rams offense fired up a bit.

Rams running back out with partial groin tear

By R.B. FALLSTROM, AP Sports Writer
September 24, 2007

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson will miss at least one week with a partial tear of his left groin, an injury sustained in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-3 loss at Tampa Bay.

Rookie Brian Leonard, a second-round pick from Rutgers, will get his first start Sunday at Dallas. Coach Scott Linehan said Jackson would be week to week.

The 0-3 Rams learned they lost Jackson a day after guard Mark Setterstrom was lost for the season with a torn left knee ligament and cartilage damage. Setterstrom is the second lineman the Rams have lost this season, after seven-time Pro Bowl tackle Orlando Pace injured his shoulder in the opener.

Linehan said Jackson, who had 115 yards on 30 carries, was hurt making a cut. He said Jackson stayed in the game for a while after being hurt but said it was "noticeable" that Jackson was injured.

I hate seeing injuries, and usually want to play a team at their best, but we are beat up too, and I REALLY want to get to 4-0 so :)

From cbs.sportsline:

Steven Jackson, RB STL
News: Rams RB Steven Jackson will miss at least one week with a partial tear of his left groin, an injury sustained in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-3 loss at Tampa Bay. Analysis: This is awful news for Fantasy owners who spent the No. 2 pick on Jackson. They were already disappointing with Jackson's slow start, and now he is hurt. If you own Jackson and don't already have Leonard, add him immediately. Keep Jackson reserved for Week 4 and continue to monitor his progress. Hopefully he can return soon.

This has all the makings of a trap game. That team still has Holt/Bruce and a streaky QB that can light us up if we're not careful. If we come out focused and with the right approach, we'll be fine.

Sounds like a serious injury to Jackson. As we've seen with our own team, injuries are apart of the 16 game season....

Second time we have played the rams since he was drafted and said he would make parcells and jerry jones pay.

He was out for the game in 05 and now he is out for this game.

Its karma for going after his coach like a whiny little girl the week before.

The Rams are done. They should just tank the season for a high draft pick.

They have 3 guys on their O line out for the season. We better get some sacks on Bulger.

really, not much excuse (if any) to not win this game comfortably....they dont have to win by 4 or 5 tds...but we shouldnt be having to sweat this one either

ditto for the Bills

I'm quite sure they'll have Bulger throwing from mostly 3 step drops, with a few 5's mixed in...if he tries to make a living on deeper routes with 7 steps drops he'll get mauled
