*Disclaimer* This is not a Troll post…..Saints fan here that comes in peace with a realistic breakdown of the Saints and Cowboys.

Offense:

QB edge: Saints, Brees is a legit MVP candidate and the best deep passer in the league. Romo is a product of a system and the talent around him and will probably come crashing down to earth this weekend.

WR edge: Saints, Coltston is just a rookie and was the steal of the decade, Horn is a consistent veteran and Henderson is a player on the rise. TO and Glenn are average and past their prime but still dangerous.

TE edge: Cowboys, Witten is a top 5 TE period, we still need help at the position

RB edge: Saints, Bush and Deuce…..possibly the best 1-2 punch in the league. Jones and Barber are pretty good too though.

Oline edge: Saints, a rock solid group that has been the key to our big play offense. Dallas oline still suspect from what I’ve seen as Romo's mobility has been able to mask the problem.

Fullback edge: Saints….does Dallas even have one???

Now for the defense…….

DE edge: Saints, Grant and Smith are consistent with rushing the QB. Losing Greg Ellis has hurt the Cowboys pass rush.

DT edge: Saints, Hollis Thomas slightly better than Ferguson despite the recent problems.

LB edge: Saints, we are loaded with young talent (thanks for fujita and shanle who lead the team in tackles) and simoneau is a rock solid veteran. Ware and Carpenter have been busts for Dallas.

S edge: Cowboys, Roy Williams is overrated but still better than what we have.

CB edge: Cowboys, Newman is a decent player but Henry isn’t that good in coverage, still better than our secondary.

Special Teams:

Edge: Saints, you have the better punter, but we have a great kicker and return game

Coaching:

Edge: Saints, Sean Payton proving that Parcells success was a result Paytons offensive genius.

Prediction for this weeks game:

Saints 38 Cowboys 17

Drew Brees is playing on a whole different level right now and no defense in the league is capable of stopping our offense. Romo’s metoric rise had to end sooner or later and Cowboy fans will learn why the Saints are an entirely different animal than the Bucs or Cards. The only advantage Dallas will have in this game is exploiting or subpar secondary if Romo has time to throw the ball. Expect a lot of pressure from our LB as they know your team very well, also expect Payton to expose Romo and force him into big mistakes.

Go Saints!

If it smells like a troll and reads like a troll then ....

You contradict yourself a bit about Romo. If he is a product of the system, then how has he "masked" our problems at Offensive Line. Make up your mind.

Obviously this is a skins fan or something....This has to be a joke.

IF you are going to be a guy looking for trouble that is fine, at least do a little homework.

I have stated this before, I have no idea who will win this sunday, but I know this if anyone thinks that new orleans defense is going to keep us at 17 at home on a 70 degree day their crazy.

The romo comment was really classic. A system qb. This poster wouldnt know a system qb from a hole in the ground. I would love to hear this topic discussed further from all these jealous fans. They wouldnt even know where to begin on how to label romo a system quarterback.

Here is one I bet these trolls cant even get, please describe our system, the one that is propping up Romo. If you can even do that correctly you can move onto the next step.

I dont even think people understand what our offense is let alone critique it.

He hasn't lived up to the hype or 1st round draft status IMO....but still young enough to make an impact and develop into a average pass rusher though.

Mr. Troll,
You had best hope you are a troll for your analysis is poodle poo poo.
Romo is a product of a system? Why couldn't any Tom, Dick, Harry or in this case Tony run it then?

DeMarcus Ware is a bust? He may have one in Canton one day but that will be a while.

Scott Shanle and Scott Fujita are better than the Cowboy linebacking corp?
Why were they allowed to leave then?

Parcells won two Super Bowls and appeared in a third and groomed Bellicheck, Weis and your beloved Payton, who is the genius?

Newman and Henry are phenomenal, Henry is better than the Saints defensive backfield covering the same guy at once.

Roy Williams leads the league in forced turnovers.

John Carney once lost a game by missing an extra point and we here in Dallas know all about Billy Cundiff.

Dallas 35 New Orleans 20, and that's being generous.

You are goofy to say the least.

Let's be REALISTIC here......Anybody that has followed Parcells over the years understands that he runs a BALL CONTROL style of offense.....therefore the QB in this system is nothing more than a bus driver.

Romo has shown talent, but I honestly don't see much of a difference from Drew Bledsoe in the dallas games i've watched except that Romo isn't a statue that gets sacked 7 times a game.

Why do you think Payton is no longer a member of your coaching staff....he's an offensive genius that knows how to attack and score points and has restored our franchise to respectability and hopefully a world title to come.
