Breakout Cowboys 2006

As far as Pettiti breaking out, it's really a crapshoot. I don't think we can rely on him to do anything after last season. It's nice to assume he'll be suddenly ready in '06, but why take that chance when better options are available?

I dont' think Pettiti's rookie year is how the rest of his career is going to turn into, most rookie OTs tend to struggle as it is the 2nd hardest IMO, position to transition to, college to the pros, and besides that, Parcells will do everything in his power to help him succeed

btw, I'm a big proponent of adding a veteran RT in free agency for competition

Putting one TE split out in a 4 wide set is a totally different thing than a two TE set.

Again, who is using a two TE set to create mismatch problems for defensive coordinators across the league?

Why add a weapon that isn't going to help the team all that much?

dude, why bother trying to explain anything to Nors? just say your tired and ask him to call himself an idiot

and a 2-TE set is to confuse the opposing D, so that they don't know if it's going to be a run or a pass, so it would be kinda of foolish to put 2 pass-catching TEs, NORS

I'm really counting on Pittiit to step it up this year, also I don't see them replacing him with a FA.

they won't leave the RT position alone, they'll bring in a veteran if for no other reason than to compete with Pettiti

Bledstud is more mobile than you think, he is a threat to run the QB draw or naked bootleg from 10 yards out in the redzone simply because defensive coordinators don't respect statues. So don't be surprised to see new wrinkles added to his offensive repetoire soon.

And what is this nonsense about his pocket awareness? Drew has always been a savvy playmaker in the pocket, but when the defense constantly manhandles the offensive line in front of him there's not much he can do.

Also I can assure you that his vision and hearing are very keen. It's scary because Bledstud knows what defenders are thinking, that is what makes him such an assassin on the gridiron!

you mean savvy as in hold onto the football for too long?

Is it really that bad to note that the QB of my favorite team has some flaws?

nope, not at all

I have this funny, gut feeling that Bledsoe4MVP is Nors, incognito, he has the same, remarkable way of making me hate any Cowboy player he supports, although I go into it liking every Cowboy player, working their *** off for the good of the team, very much

Yes after Witten, we had Campbell who sucked and no depth. Keep up the idiot talk, very childlike.

no depth because Sean Ryan was put on IR and we didn't keep 3 TEs

a 2-TE set needs a pass-catching type TE, and a blocking type TE, and both need to be able to block, so we're not keying off if we're going to run a pass, or run play, Pope is a pass-catcher, kind of defeats the purpose of the 2-TE set doesn't it then?

Paranoia is bad dude, usually those hung up on alter ego's are the one's with them.

There is only one Nors!

Stud TE's can both catch the football and block. You have not seen talent Sans Witten that can do either. Sad - but we are going to fix that!

Funny, I thought this thread started out well and went to hell pretty quickly.

Nors: Bledsoe is a god; Shanle is the next Bill Bergy; and, Dallas does need to draft a TE  in the 1st round. :banghead:

Hostile: Good luck in your race with Drew "Lickity Split" Bledsoe...You can do it!

No savvy, as in picking apart secondaries and hitting receivers right on the numbers in double coverage with an assassin's arm.

I think Pettiti will be 50% better. His sacks allowed will drop to about 8.

That's still not very good.

At least he's not in denial. We need a RT. Some posters beleive that Pettitti is going to be solid next year. I hope their right because we don't have alot of options.
