Yes he did. Also that he isn’t a starter in this league.Didn’t you say he was a change of pace back, nothing more? Then said you weren’t trolling?

Like I know he had some drop off after the ACL but that was expected. Dude is a freak and only 23. He’d be fantastic.Yes he did. Also that he isn’t a starter in this league.
It's my opinion. Your free to disagree. It's called debating ideas and thoughts. It's not a spitting contest. Stop getting offended so easily.Didn’t you say he was a change of pace back, nothing more? Then said you weren’t trolling?
Yeah I don’t get it.Like I know he had some drop off after the ACL but that was expected. Dude is a freak and only 23. He’d be fantastic.
Yeah. Your opinion is non factual though. It's my opinion. You’re free to disagree. It's called debating ideas and thoughts. It's not a spitting contest. Stop getting offended so easily.
Here he'd be in a rotation. That's not me, that's Shottenheimers philosophy.Like I know he had some drop off after the ACL but that was expected. Dude is a freak and only 23. He’d be fantastic.
Yeah, I'm just not sure I want a back who has averaged 3.7 YPC the last two years to be the lead dog in that rotation. At this juncture especially now after his injury last year, I agree. His days of being an every down back are over. Which is why we will use a rotation.
Or we could find a good player like when we found Bland.Yeah I don’t get it.
Let’s save our picks.
Could miss out on the next Nashon Wright!
I'm a fan of your idea. Let's just go ahead and invest a pick on a guy at RB. Like Tonight.Yeah, I'm just not sure I want a back who has averaged 3.7 YPC the last two years to be the lead dog in that rotation.
That's why I think right now we need to draft a running back in the second. There are probably upgrades there. In the third, there are maybe upgrades. In the fifth-seventh, you're just hoping to get lucky.
I have no problem using one of those fifths on Hall instead of hoping to get lucky, and then be able to use the second and third on other needs.
Could miss out on the next Nashon Wright!
What won't be the case? We're going to run the ball a lot and probably will need two quality backs to do it. I view Williams as a back who can come in as a hammer to give the other back a rest and who can be used to finish games if we're ahead. But in our system Shotty has said he will use, that won't be the case in Dallas.

Post of the thread right here. This would be a stupid trade, so it could definitely happen.
We might, but I could see Stephen and Jerry doing otherwise. They don't see the urgency because of what they did in free agency. I see the urgency because of what they didn't do in free agency.I'm a fan of your idea. Let's just go ahead and invest a pick on a guy at RB. Like Tonight.
Well said. YipWe might, but I could see Stephen and Jerry doing otherwise. They don't see the urgency because of what they did in free agency. I see the urgency because of what they didn't do in free agency.
I've written elsewhere that our draft pattern the last three years has been to draft defense in the second if we drafted offense first or offense if we drafted defense first. Based on that pattern, I'm expecting a defensive player at 44, either a DT, CB or LB. That means the earliest we would take a back is 76 and we need to address WR as well.
Who knows? Maybe we address DT/CB/LB in these next two rounds and our "substantive trades" are for RB and WR.
Speed???He’s one of the best backs in football and a game breaker.
Yep.. He’s basically Christian McCaffrey.Speed???
