You are also buying high now of you decide the explore this again. With Hall you are getting a very good 12-15 carry a game back on a 1 year deal. Id value that as a day 3 pick. Coming off a strong game, I agree with your assessment on what the Jets would actually ask

There's very few running backs getting 20+ touches per game in the league. Less than 10.

We'd have to extend him. He's on the last year of his rookie deal. Just so happens we have a ton of cap space available. I'd make that trade right now and not think twice.

Sure it does. Well, our understanding of the price, anyway. Lots of preseason speculation that he was sliding down the depth chart, would be supplanted by Braelon Allen, and therefore could be obtained cheap. But that was never actually the case, as the first two weeks have demonstrated. Well, that and the fact that the Jets kept saying they wouldn't trade him.
