I'm hoping that someone takes him before us and pushes a RB/defensive player to us. I will say this, many of the throws were all over the place. QB had a tough time getting him the ball. He sill should have caught some of the balls that did get to him though.

speed means squat if you can't catch the ball. How many track stars have ever really been able to transition into really top WRs? Bullet Bob..... and who else?

So you're saying he's not the Wright kind of guy to be playing receiver for us?

Taken from CBS

WEAKNESSES: Lacks polish and technique to the position. He'll need to work on running routes and reading coverages at the next level. Perriman will not be able to rely just on his natural ability at the next level. Can disappear at times in a game.

He was a terrific college player and is good enough for the NFL, but may not have the suddenness or speed to excel as a starting receiver in the NFL.

Since people seem to be souring a bit on Parker, Funchess and Strong, someone needed to step back into the first round picture. I hope he stays there, the more receivers the better chance at pushing down a defender or two.

exactly, I wouldn't mind seeing another QB or two start to gain speed into the first round (not likely)

What's it going to be then, eh?

We are going to need all the help we can get to push talent down.

This is a strange draft to me. Outside of maybe the first 15, the rest all look like 2nd round talent. I wouldn't mind a trade down. There are good players in that area, it would be nice to capitalize on. I just do not think there will be trade partners. Were there a third QB in this draft, perhaps.

I think if there was a legit 3rd QB, they likely go before our pick, and thus not making it a better trade option for Dallas

All I'm saying is if this guy is there at 27, and other guys we've graded 1st round are gone, I'm comfortable with this pick.

Huh, Even though he does not look Darius Heyward Bay bad no way is he is a 1st round pick, unless of course Al Davis is now undead.

I'll bet you he goes in first round to some team. The film shows him getting open all the time but the qb was bad.

that UCF QB sucks. When his guys are open he throws to the covered guy or completely misses his target. His throws were all over the place. Many were so bad, not even the defense had a shot at catching them.

That being said, I saw nothing special from that highlight reel. Perriman looks like a JAG. And on film, his speed was not very evident.

When I saw guys with blazing times run, they looked fast all the time.....Deion, Darrell Green, Chris Johnson.....Perriman looks like he is lumbering out there. Just from watching that video, he is the slowest, fastest man I have ever seen with my eyes. Basically, he seems to lack suddenness, along with hands and a complete route tree.

I pass.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Dallas took him in about the 4th round if he were to fall to them that late. Speed is something you either have or you don't but, of course, questionable hands would detract from his desirability. Still, opposing teams would surely be forced to respect that kind of speed just the same. It can be a killer.
