Brett Favre: I’d vote for Dak Prescott as NFL MVP

I really don't care.

Individual awards are secondary. It's the team titles that matter. This is the ultimate team sport.

Let the other guys win MVP and all that other stuff. Give me the team titles.

I'm all about the star on the helmet, not the names on the back of the jersey.

Wait.

Are you arguing Rodgers' supporting cast is superior to what Prescott has?
Not at all. And they're also not even close to the same level of performance.

Rodgers' team is only 9-6 and Dak's QBR is superior. Those things matter every other year. This year is only different because it's a Cowboys QB with the advantage.

The outcome was determined before the season started....it will be Brady or Rodgers....

Dak and Zeke will likely cancel each other out because too many can't decide which one has been more valuable. I think Brady or Ryan will win it. One player has to standout on their team as the main reason they're winning.

Farve is correct, Dak should be the MVP. A quarterback leading a 4-12 team to a 13-2 record and the #1 seed makes it an easy choice. And Farve is a good judge as to who should win seeing as he was a 3-time MVP himself.

Its funny how any time a Cowboy does not win an award or doesn't get named to an All Pro or Pro Bowl team, its a conspiracy.

I mean it isn't really a contest in my mind. He's a 4th round rookie that was supposed to be raw, ride the bench, and start in a few years. Did everyone forgot the trash that played last year when Romo went down behind the same offensive line?

Given the circumstances of replacing a vet like Romo on a team with high expectations, he deserves MVP and it should be no contest.

Hard to argue agains Ryan as the MVP. Highest QBR, DYAR, and DVOA.

Dak has had an incredible year, but is 2nd (QBR), 4th (DYAR), and 2nd (DVOA) and will have about 1,000 less passing yards. The 1000 less passing yards is significant when thinking about MVP. Dak just doesn't account for enough of the offense to warrant MVP, and we saw this same exact thing happen with Romo in 2014.

dak will get a award of some type, no telling what.
If he gets to and wins the SB, all the awards are rendered trivial.

Dak is the quarterback of America's Team he will lead us to multiple Super Bowls.
That's all he cares about
That is the key, any smart qb, that should be their main goal, and go all out to get a SB win, because after that
it all comes to you easier.
It also gets you a bigger paycheck.

Dez made a comment about Dak, saying people dont have any idea how high his goals are.

Hilarious how Dak isn't even a serious candidate. Anti-Cowboys media bias is alive and well.

Give Aaron Rodgers the exact same supporting cast and let him put up 29 total TD, 4 INT and a 13-2 record. He'd be a LOCK to win MVP.
ehh. A-Rod has 40 total TDs and 11 TO's compared to Dak's 29 total TDs and 8 TO's. He even leads his team in Rushing TDs and gets very little from his run game.

Agree with ROY, just don't see a rookie winning the MVP...[/QUOTE

What about Elliott??
