Brett Favre: I’d vote for Dak Prescott as NFL MVP

It's amazing in the illustrious history of the Dallas Cowboys that we have only had one MVP.

The sportswriters just might be as well. Prescott has a shot and he certainly deserves a shot. College kid has turned the NFL on its head. What Player is really better? Choker Ryan...worn out Rogers? Time for some fresh thinking!

ehh. A-Rod has 40 total TDs and 11 TO's compared to Dak's 29 total TDs and 8 TO's. He even leads his team in Rushing TDs and gets very little from his run game.

I can't give the MVP to a guy who didn't give a crap about his team for half the season.

The only real challenge to Dak as MVP is Ryan. Brady as well, but missing 4 games and having your team go 3-1 without you kinda lessens your argument.

You left out the part about Rodgers having 4 less wins and 4 more losses.

Sad too because he has as many wins as Brady (as a rookie no less) and more wins than every other QB. He is 4 points away from being 15-0.

Brady missed 4 games, Dak has won 13 games as a starter, Brady has only won 9 games, Ryan has 5 losses, and Rodgers was once 4-6 this year.

Not at all. And they're also not even close to the same level of performance.

Rodgers' team is only 9-6 and Dak's QBR is superior. Those things matter every other year. This year is only different because it's a Cowboys QB with the advantage.

Rodgers has more raw numbers but Dak's been more efficient.

The Cowboys have the 4th stingiest defense in terms of points-allowed-per-game compared to Green Bay's 22nd ranking. The Cowboys also have the 2nd best rushing attack in the league; the Packers have the 20th.

Also, Green Bay has just four more takeaways on the season than Dallas.

It's the Most Valuable Player award, not the Most Efficient.

Ryan is the only reason why the falcons have 10 wins though. The Falcons defense is awful. Dak should get some consideration for MVP, but isn't prolific enough to win that award as a QB.

I think Zeke will finish 2nd or 3rd. I think Ryan is the MVP.
