He sucked after his injury because he was still injured. Before the injury he was money.Dan Bailey sucked last year... Did we all just forget that?

What makes you think he's recovered from his injury and would stay injury free this year? He sucked in 2016 too for the exact same reason. He missed multiple games and wasn't 100%.
Did people forget this? I mean, it's not like he mentally lost it - he had an actual injury. Why are people leaving out context to feel good about this bums signing?
I mentioned earlier, Bailey had missed 5 (you heard that right, 5) FGs in his last 4 games...and his most recent attempt was a miss from 23 yards.
Bailey had a great run, but something was off.
He also tried out for the Jets recently but didn't get an offer.
Btw, that was no chip shot...but a very tough FG attempt. The stroke looked good...just missed by inches from 47 in bad weather, and had enough leg for another 10 yards easily.
What happened to all those 67 yarders he was nailing in practice and that 57 yarder he made in pre-season?
Of all the concerns I have about the Cowboys ability to score, hitting the upright on a 47 yard FG in the rain is way down the list.

Almost bought a Dan Bailey jersey after one of his early season kicks. Maybe I still should. He sucked after his injury because he was still injured. Before the injury he was money.

Agree. I won't pretend to know how he'll do going forward, but to go bonkers off of one kick (his first), isn't something I will do. As you stated, he had enough distance for at least 10 more yards on that kick. So the upside is, we have a kicker with a big leg. That could come in mighty handy at times (if our Offense can score enough to make games at least close). If that miss got to him mentally, we'll find out real soon. As for me, I'll give him a little slack before wanting him gone.I mentioned earlier, Bailey had missed 5 (you heard that right, 5) FGs in his last 4 games...and his most recent attempt was a miss from 23 yards.

Using a sample size of 1, you'd have dumped Zeke after his first game.
With all the Dak and Garrett Bashing I don't want this clown to get a pass. First pressure kick as a Cowboy. He hit the upright flags, wide right. Whoever came up with the idea to cut Bailey needs to punched in the face.

Lol. Good post. It sucked he missed but it wouldn’t have won or lost the game.Of all the concerns I have about the Cowboys ability to score, hitting the upright on a 47 yard FG in the rain is way down the list.
