:bang2: OMG OMG WE SUCK!! :bang2: obligatory week 1 over reaction post

I know Young and Colombo were hurt, I just want to know about when are they expected to be back? And was Brewster not part of the gameday actives? I recall him playing decent football during the preseason at the tackle spot. Can't remember whether it was LT or RT. Hopefully when Colombo and Young are healthy again, we can release Barron.

Any thoughts on Holland's play? I didn't pay too much attention to him.

Holland missed a blitz pickup early on but otherwise i thought he played well. Had Garrett stuck more to the running game, the OLine overall would be receiving a lot of praise this morning. Unfortunately our coaching staff iced the offense.

I'm going to wait for a full breakdown on Holland. (I wasn't watching him all that much during the game)

No way in hell I would put Brewster out there in a live game unless he was the only tackle left on the roster.

There's no way he could have been worse than Barron. It's worth a shot.

Absolute bull****. Brewster would have been roadkill by a factory of five compared to Barron. The guy is overweight and slow.

If he becomes a good player, it won't be this year. He has to lose over 50lbs of blubber off of his belly. Once that weight goes from blubber to muscle, then we can talk.

Unless they make a trade, Brewster or Young by EOY IMO.

I take Young over Brewster and twice on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.

Of course it is a major downer than he didn't get a full preseason of experience before getting injured.

I'm just hoping Colombo can come back and man the position in the same fashion he did two years ago.

He actually played both in the pre-season (he was a little better at RT).

The only thing you can say about Holland is that you didn't hear his name called. That's a good thing.

I would prefer Young, but honestly I would have taken Brewtser over Barron last night. I understand why the coaches didn't (due to Barron's "experience") but Barron has now proven that he's a liability, not an asset. Hell, if we're going to lose let's give the kids some experience. I can handle failure due to inexperience. Failure because your RT is lazy and stupid is unacceptable. The Rams knew what they were doing. It's time the Cowboys followed suit.

No way. Brewster looked good for the most part in pre season and Barron looked bad. No reason that should change now. Brewster way > Barron

Barron was fundamentally lazy.

No hand punch at all.

He would wait for the defender to get up close & personal with him and then hold.

They went with Barron because he is a vet with at least like 40+ starts so they opted with experience. The issue with Barron is he looked horrible not just on the play he did what he did many times in Pre season.

If he gets his arm extended and on the person he is fine but he relys to much on that and does not move his feet very while. So if they get inside him he just lays his arms across people and holds them.

He played all right for spurts and then would get owned several plays in a row. Barron was terrible all the way around from first glance I have not gone back and watch what I recorded not sure I can stomach it.

Holland was pretty good, I thought. He got good push in the run game, pulled on a stretch play to block Rocky McIntosh near the sidelines, and generally didn't give up a lot of pressure.

I'll still be glad for Kosier to get back, because you could see that Romo was working overtime to make sure the OL knew their responsibilities. Also, it was obvious that the gameplan didn't put any faith in the line being able to pass protect.

I start Brewster against Chicago on Sunday. I don't care if he's unexperienced, or whatever. Sometimes you just have to send a message, and you cannot keep stupid players (I don't care if he's the best option)on the field.

If Barron starts next week Lovie will put Peppers on his side the entire game!

I would love to cut him, but Jerry is too stupid to do that as well.

Julius Pepper would absolutely love that!

I agree with everything in this post.

Im just crossing my fingers for 1 more year of good Colombo.

If not im ready to role with Sam Young and I think he is already a better player than Barron.

Hmm interesting, I hope they start someone else at RT, and just stick a RB/TE to help out than have penalties. I know it takes away a weapon, but penalties absolutely kill drives.
