Yup.

There are guys in the NFL quitting on their teams, driving drunk at 120 mph, getting in fights, getting arrested…

And our fans complain about an elite player because he runs a podcast in his free time and talks too much.

It’s so weird.

Honestly, some of these fans would be better off just getting what they ask for.

Let the cowboys trade Micah. Let the defense go back to being dog crap like it was for over a decade before Micah arrived.

Let the people have what they want.

He is fresher coming into the last part of the season than before. I think that is a factor.

After watching the Erik Williams video the other day and listening to posters on here, Reggie White definitely doesn't belong in the hall of Fame

If you think about it, if Micah had 2 sacks every game as some people expect from him, he would finish the season with 34 sacks. That's not just a record, it is 50% greater than the record for sacks in a season.

It is hard to get sacks. Even the best pass rushers have games where they do not get a sack, let alone 2 sacks. Some people make it sound like the best pass rushers in the league never face below average pass blockers. Only Micah Parsons does plays against bad teams. They make it sound like Micah is never getting double teamed, or chipped by an extra blocker.

Parsons is an excellent football player, one of the best in the league. His presence on the field changes blocking schemes by the offenses he faces. If Parsons is getting double or triple teamed it means someone else is getting an easier assignment. It means maybe there is one less receiver in a pass pattern. Football is still a team sport. No one man is going dominate an entire offense, not even Micah Parsons.

The Cowboys are not a good team this year, but for some reason fans want to blame the best players on the field. It never made sense to me.

He is the Cowboys best player and no one is a close second. The Cowboys need the bounty he would bring in a trade to help get back to relevance.
There will be no trade. There will be no bounty, except for Micah when he signs for $35 million per season.

Agreed, do it against TOP TEAMS and TOP TALENT. Also, do it for an entire season...I'm sure that month off in October gives him fresher legs than most of his sub-par competition.

The other things is - as long as he's asking to be the highest paid defender EVER - if you got time to do a podcast and scout other teams - how is it you don't have your finger on the pulse of your own? Mostly what we get out of Micah are delusions of grandeur...meanwhile the team is getting obliterated at home in the playoffs. You didn't see that coming? You can't get the guys mentally prepared? Probably not...gotta get ready to pod tomorrow...it's a grind.

Overall, yeah...Micah's talent and skills are very high. But then I watch the Pittsburgh game...and TJ Watt's motor is INSANE. And then I see has no podcast. And their D is consistently good to very good. HE deserves to be the highest paid...not Me-cah.
and Watt can actually play the run effectively

I’m not sure it’ll be much different
He could get 20 pressures, but be crapped on by our fans if he didn't get any sacks. Baldinger in his recap is showing why this defense thrives when teams have to account for Micah, but fans who don't like him point to sack stats when they don't have an argument otherwise. It's sad.

It's extremely important to consider the strength of opponents when judging any player.....just look at Micahs stats against the Bills, Dolphins and Packers last season.....AWOL.

This season in losses to the Saints, Ravens, Texans and Eagles....Parsons had a total of 2 sacks in these 4 games.

At some point these things should be considered in making him the games highest paid defensive player
Since his return, he's had two sacks against Philly (possibly the No. 1 playoff seed) and two against Washington (possibly a playoff team). Last year, he had 2.5 sacks in the last five games, but 6.5 in the last eight. Watt had 8.5 in the last eight. Nick Bosa had 6.

Why do we create narratives to disparage our pass rushers? Fans did the same thing with Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware.

and it’s not like he doesn’t also get sacks lol. since coming in the league he’s got what, like the 4th most? while also generating the most pressures by far

I truly don't understand it. Because he doesn't keep his mouth shut instead of giving his opinion, he's disliked. All I care about is production on the field and he's one of the best at it. You don't get too many shots at a player like that. Last one we had was Ware. Before that, we had to rent Haley, who didn't have to be as good as the two we drafted because he was on much better defenses.

I can't think of any other DL we had who were even in their stratosphere. We had a pretty good support group, though, with Tolbert, Lett, etc. Glover was still pretty good when he was here. David Irving might could have been a dominant player if he liked the game more than dope. ... I think some could stand Micah more if he had a marijuana issue instead of just foot-in-mouth disease.

It was indeed a narrative i stated, but was it a false narrative?

My point was to show his production against some of the top offenses we faced.

It's universally known that the Bills Dolphins and Packers were among the best offense. In those 3 games, Micah had a grand total of 3 solo tackles and 1/2 a sack.....all 3 games were losses.

The elite players don't go AWOL in the biggest games.

The numbers don't lie.....only people do

The Eagles and Commanders are among the top-ranked offenses this year. He had two sacks in each of those games.

Yes, people do lie ... or at least they bend stats to support their position. Every great defender has games where they are unsuccessful at getting sacks, even if they are one of the top pressure players in the league, which the pressure numbers show that Micah is.

Some of you are ridiculous in looking to bad-mouth him. There are things he can do better, like every player, but his pressure rate, the number of sacks he has had since entering the league, etc., all put him among elite company. He's a game disruptor, and you can see that by how offense build their game plans around stopping or limiting him.
