The Eagles and Commanders are among the top-ranked offenses this year. He had two sacks in each of those games.

Yes, people do lie ... or at least they bend stats to support their position. Every great defender has games where they are unsuccessful at getting sacks, even if they are one of the top pressure players in the league, which the pressure numbers show that Micah is.

Some of you are ridiculous in looking to bad-mouth him. There are things he can do better, like every player, but his pressure rate, the number of sacks he has had since entering the league, etc., all put him among elite company. He's a game disruptor, and you can see that by how offense build their game plans around stopping or limiting him.
and you are ignoring past years when he faded in December and did nothing in the playoffs

While I'm a fan of trading the guy, I gotta say I've never seen someone as fast as him off the edge

Nothing is perspective. If teams double- and triple-team a player because he's the only real pass rushing threat, that's not doing nothing. It's opening up one-on-one opportunities for other players who may not take advantage of them. Fo some of you being one of the top pressure players in the league but it sometimes doesn't result in sacks is doing nothing, That happens with every great pass rusher, and the numbers show that Parsons is one of the greats. In the Cincy game, for instance, he constantly put Burrow on the move, but Burrow did a good job of escaping the pocket to buy time and throwing on the run. Parsons doesn't get stats for that, but it has an impact.

A lot of fans were ready to get rid of DeMarcus Ware when we cut him because of health concerns. They didn't think he had a great impact on games when it counted. He went to Denver, where he had another great pass rusher at the other end, and his play helped the Broncos win a Super Bowl, carrying a fairly ineffective offense. Some of our fans expect our stars to be Superman when they don't have much around them for support. Baldinger showed in this video how Micah's play creates opportunities for other players, but that's what really gets ignored by those who don't appreciate the player.

But believe what you want, as I've said in other threads, the season isn't worth arguing over. I have no doubt that the Joneses will pay Micah as one of the top pass rushers in the game, and I will be applauding that decision. The only think I won't like is them using it as justification for not doing more than signing our own free agents and some off the junk heap.
