Was watching comcast sports and B-Dawk said he isn't getting any younger and would like to join a team with a shot at the championship. He says he loves the Eagles and bleeds green but when he looks at the Cowboys and Giants he feels that an NFC East team will win the Bowl next year and he is sad to say he doesn't think it will be Philly.
He also said he is still very good friends with T.O. and that they talk at least once a week. He says from what T.O. says dallas has planed for the off season he would have to pick dallas as a front runner for the Championship. He said if things go the way management explained it to Owens Cowboys will make the Patriots go WOW!

Just found it funny that an eagle is picking us for the super bowl. lol poor eagles have no faith in their selves. What do you guys think? Is he just being nice or do you think they see us as front runners for next year.

He didn't realy say, It was like a 2 hour show and he only spoke about the boys for like 5 mins. The host did joke about Chad Johnson and Dawk said that in order for Chad to go anywhere he would have to attack Palmer in the media. Start blaming stuff on him. He said if Chad wants out bad enough he will get out but Brian said he don't see Chad getting out untill next season.
I was wondering what T.O. knew as well. I know that a few weeks ago Deon also hinted at the Cowboys making big moves. We will just have to wait and see I guess.

Ok thats 3 guys who are talking big time now about a "wow" factor/player

Jerry said it a month ago
Dieon said it at the superbowl
TO must have told Dawkins the same thing.

I am officially giddy with anticipation. Something is going to go down big this year, and I can't wait to see what it is.

Jerry's got to do something to sell those PSL's. Not to hijack the thread but.....
Asante in FA
A #2 and 4th pick for Roy Willams (detroit)
Both #1's and a player to the raiders for McFadden.

That would certainly make me say "wow".

I don't think the Eagles are in a rebuild mode.

It would be amazing and I am realy excited for the off season this year. It seems as though everyone close to Jerry is going on the record saying he will be making a splash this year.

That's funny coming from the man who's never heard of a period. :D

I respect what Dawkins has done, but honestly, how affective is he at this point? If he can still play at an affective level like he did in '06, then Im all for it cause he'd be a significant step above Roy. But he wasnt all that impressive this past season. Apparently a lot of it was personal issues tho, so maybe things can change.

1. Asante is nothing more than a product of Belichick's system. He's an above average corner who's seeking an 8 figure a year deal. I think not.

2. I'd love it.

3. *smh*

Moss would not be a good fit for Romo. Tony doesnt have a strong arm and Moss is very one dimensional with what he does on the field.

Not thinking that Brian is going to be getting the Momma McChunky X-max card this year.

That matters very little, because if this unilateral wet dream ever did occur, it wouldn't matter what Romo could do. You can't double team TO, Witten, AND Moss. It'd be ridiculous. But while we're having wet dreams... let's bring Jerry Rice to Dallas in a Charles Xavier-esque wheelchair... and he can run the slot.

Quit being such a party pooper. I was putting the guy's fantasy into a harsh reality.

Good stuff. Thanks for the post.

Very interesting to hear that T.O. is telling Dawkins that Dallas has some big moves planned.

I'll never understand how everyone thinks all players, current and former, are fully informed of their teams' personnel plans and offseason intentions.
