If we are changing coaches I believe on paper Brian Flores is the best candidate.

Any organisation serious about winning would bring him in for an interview and not because of the Rooney rule.

I don’t see Jerry hiring a defensive minded HC. You’re probably better off trying to get Saleh as DC if you’re getting an inexperienced HC like Moore. If he’s going for experience it will be Carroll Garrett type.

What was Parcells and Wade?

I can't see some teams wanting to hire him.

His relationship with Tua was weird.
He saying the owner wanted him to tank.
He saying there was some discrimination going on.

I watched his tenure in Miami. Never could find a decent OC. Every year he tried some ex-Pat OC with meh results.
He also "mis-used" Minkah in Miami which also led to the Dolphins trading him away. Flores wanted him at SS and LB.
He also played head games with Kenny Stills playing Jay-z songs in practice right after Stills criticized Jay-Z.

As ESPN's Jeff Darlington reported, Ross' decision was about relationships and Flores' inability to sustain them. His time with the Dolphins featured constant turnover -- different offensive coordinators in each year, two defensive coordinators and four offensive line coaches, one of whom was fired days into training camp.

Even with my eyeballs flushed with a complete bottle of visine....I can't see that in Dallas.

I have zero issues giving guys second chances, and if hes truly learned from his mistakes he could be a legitimate HC candidate, but I dont see at all how he is the #1 candidate on paper. He holds a .490 winning percentage and never made the post season in 3 years.

Last year as DC his defense ranked 16th in the league in YPG, this year they are 16th again. They've been a pretty good group but nothing special plus he has never really shown the ability to work with the offensive side of the football.

Over the last 15 years what kind of coach has JJ had? JJ has talked about offensive minded coaches, and considering the 240m he just gave the QB JJ how does a Defensive minded HC help this QB be successful.

I thought of Flores myself as a candidate. He deserves an interview . For the record and for what it’s worth while they interview Flores the Jones team should call Tua the Fins Qb and ask him exactly what he meant about his comments on Flores.

No defensive coaches, need more talent on offense and an offense coach to compliment the defense

Parcells was hired so that Jerry could get the franchise competent enough to sell his stadium plan
Wade was hired as a stopgap so that he could make Garrett HC.
Why did he even want to hire Garrett in the first place?

I;m not against it but who is hiring the OC? Jones or Flores
