Brian Schottenheimer on Cowboys QB Dak Prescott

Obviously, but it's favorable to see what he does for us.

Perhaps hate is in and fairness is outdated these days.
I don’t agree with it but I understand it. They didn’t take this coaching search serious. Same with McCarthy. He did far more than I thought and those names who were out there at the time like Ron Rivera he probably was the beer coach in hindsight. I think people wanted more of a actual search and they should’ve done one.

I am not betting the farm on it, but I think it is only fair to give Schottenheimer a chance to see what he can do as head coach for our beloved or behated Cowboys team. I am impressed with the coaching staff he has assembled and that literally is half the battle towards improving the team.

It remains to be seen how the coaching responds to the needs of this team, without a doubt. We'd be well advised to hope Schotty and his capable assistants surprise us with a competitive team, for a change. If he's as ready to assume the HC post as he thinks he is, we might be surprised.

It would be foolish to expect great coaching prospects to be pounding on the door of this front office to hire them with the kind of past they have to present to future coaches. Let's hope those we have in house turn out to be far better than what many of us have come to expect. We'll see.

My bad Mr. Technically This Technically That.

Dak gonna make sure you don’t get an extension once your contract ends, Brain.

Better?
TMC still thanks Garrett didn't get fired. "No his contract ran out".:facepalm:

This isn't a build a bridge contract. "project" contract. Project over, contract honored. No reason to offer a new one.

If you do not get offered a contract...you HAVE been fired.

Garret was fired. No bones about it.

I'm not sure about MM. It would seem he quit?

I mean the thing is I’m fine with not getting the great coaching prospects. The coaches that work prior don’t see coming. No one was knocking down to hire Peterson or Siranni or Tom Coughlin. So I’m fine with passing on a guy like Ben Johnson.

The issue with Schottenheimer is he essentially got a raise as if he did something right or well.

Not robotic and artificial like Garrett, seems like a nice, likable guy…. But appears too “textbook”… That’s all I can say at this point..
