Brian Schottenheimer: The effort is right. The fight is right. Mistakes are killing us

[stilltheguru]

Mr super bowl in August.

[Bob-Lillys-War]

, yes schotty .

[Cowboysheelsreds053]

[Asklesko]

Clueless isn't just a movie -- it's a head coach!

[Kumala808]

no more fooling us, we are done

[noshame]

I agree, snotty, execution is the way to go with you.

[Bob-Lillys-War]

' its not the effort ? ' ...

thats even worse .

[Hawkeye19]

Horrid. Same song and dance every week.

The offense has fallen off a cliff and he has no idea how to respond.

Fire him. Promote Adams to interim HC. And get back to running the ball.

[Gambit]

Since Shotty hired as HC

Team 9-13-1
1-7 prime time games
Lowest 2 game combined points scored
7th lowest points scored thru 6 games in team history - this while NFL scoring up.

[JohnnyTheFox]

Clueless isn't just a movie -- it's a head coach!

And a board game

[darthseinfeld]

Make we need start fighting the effort

[diamonddelts]

Not even Garrett was this bad.

Oh I beg to differ.

[Streifenkarl]

At this point it's like a bad dream that keeps repeating itself over and over

At this point? At THIS point?

[America's Cowboy]

No-Schott is lying as usual to save his own neck. These players no longer believe in him. Jerry needs to fire No-Schott immediately before the disloyal disruption spreads throughout the organization.

[Whyjerry]

Shottenheimer is, was and will always be a clown.

[MizzouCowboy4]

Clown take

[Cowboys5217]

I kinda feel bad for him, but it is what it is. I think he's aware of everything we are, but I guess he doesn't want to melt down in the media over it which I can understand.

I think he should just forget about everything and try coaching fast and loose. Screw any edicts from Jerry on who plays. Why not at this point?

[mmohican29]

At this point? At THIS point?

I understand the use of the phrase, and how laughably silly that there is a line designation to the Cowboys absurdity...

But I use it too, because as fans we are all victims to this franchise's humiliation since 1995.

It's said in hopes someone that can act- acts. It's a lesser form of insanity, giving fans plausible deniability.

If that wasn't granted? Then there's no reason to look forward to football anymore.

[Wolfpack]

Getting severely out coached on both side of the ball each week and he has no clue what to do about it as each new team simply repeats the formula that he has no answer for. Add in time management errors and he has no business as a HC in the NFL.
