You know, if Roy would step up and admit mistakes he'd be much better for it. Instead we get Mr. Thin Skinned.

The Bears defense gave up 22 points and created 3 turnovers against 1 of the best offenses in the league - the best when they can carry the ball 42 times and average 4.5 yards per carry.

How do you defend Manning and stop a ground game like that?

You are asking way too much from the defense when the Bears offense turns it over 5 times.

Urlacher is too good of a teammate but even he knows they lost the game beucase the offense, specifically Rex Grossman couldnt take care of the ball.

... so tired of people attacking the Bears defense when their offense coughed it up 5 times.

Wow. Urlacher must not have seen enough of the game to realize that Rivera's ineptitude as a DC cost the Bears the game.;)

I have read several posts dissing Rivera and laying the blame on him. In fact, several have said he is a loser and we don't need him as our DC. That brings up an interesting point. Since the Bears' D and DC are so bad they are not the reason the Bears made it to the SB then a person has to assume that the Bears's O and their OC are responsible for the Bears being in the SB. And if the D and DC didn't get them there and the O did then why didn't the O win the SB? It would appear the O failed to do their superb job in the SB and the D was doing their usual which was failing to win games.
