He's weak. I weigh 180 and work my way up to 275 lbs. at 3am on 4 hours of sleep. Seriously, I know guys that weigh 225 and work up to well over 400 lbs. this is not newsworthy and is rather disappointing.

Larry Allen is somewhere smirking while reading about Waters working his way up to low 400s ;)

Completely different conditioning for what he is doing.

1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.

2. Ron Leary will
start at right guard over Bernadeau.

3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.

4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.

5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

So you where straight up wrong about 3 of your predictions so far......Witten has a two td lead against you, and I just hope you didn't jinx Bruce Carter

Man, I'm an embarrassment and pretty much a failure, huh?

I hope he can help us become a strong physical running team when we need to.

Please explain. I've been working out most of my life on a consistent basis (I'm 40 now). "Conditioning" is an overly used cliche IMO. You're either in shape or you aren't. Banging out a few reps at 400 lbs with his body weight is disappointing. You can watch the senior citizens bench press contest, and those people would put Waters to shame. No kidding.

Huh? Nobody ever said that was his max. It just said he was "casually doing 5-6 reps." Whether it's newsworthy is debatable, but I don't know how you could call it disappointing based on what was reported. It would be like saying a report that Romo was casually throwing 30-yard passes before practice is disappointing because you can throw it 50.

It would be instructive to see your friend try to execute a pancake block.

Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee joined Ben & Skin on KRLD-FM. Here are some highlights.

Have you seen Brian Waters lift weights?

Sean Lee: No I have not, but I've heard a lot of rumors going around. Apparently, when he first got in the weight room, one of our coaches asked him, 'well, what do you want to put on the bar?' He said 315. He's like, 'Oh, you want to go to 315?' He said, 'No I want to warm up with 315.' I think he worked up into the low 400s and casually hit five or six reps, racked it and walked away.

He just casually pumped it out, no big deal, set it up, walked out. Everybody was just kind of in awe. But that's why he's been a great player, why he's been around so long ... because of how strong he is.

Based on some of the posts here, apparently the fact this put the team in awe is real cause for concern.

Witten and Romo are the only two players left that were on the team when LA was here. Would be interesting to see what Witten had to say.

Romo can't throw a 50 yard pass anymore? That's disappointing.

IIRC, Bernardeau was the strongest lineman on the team going into last season. At least I remember his huge bench number being a fun fact about him when we signed him from CAR. Just sayin'.

Maybe a little disappointing if it's his max, but at 6'3" 320 upper body strength just doesn't matter nearly as much.
