Brian Waters

You let it go.

You can gloss over every mistake this team makes and then dare to wonder why the end results come up short.

The Cowboys had every opportunity to sign a multi-time Pro Bowler and model citizen and a player who would have been an ideal mentor for this young offensive line showing them what it takes to be a self-made NFL player.

They screwed up.

End of story.

wow, are you an only child, you seem awful spoiled. You didn't get your pet cat now you are all up in arms over it.

You have absoutley no Proof that Dallas didn't talk to Waters about coming here. You are just assuming, because you have an agenda, that since he is not here, that the FO is stupid. You are also assuming that he wanted to play for Dallas, again, no proof but some hearsay news report, we all know how true and accurate they are.

Did you ever stop to consider that at age 34, he made a decision that going to NE would give him a better chance to win a SB than coming to Dallas. He knows he is not getting younger and that his time is running short. If you had to pick between Dallas and NE this year to win the SB, who would you give better odds too?

Everything you said MIGHT be true, but to just assume that your logic is what happened is stupid at best. There are many possible reasons that Waters didn't sign here, Maybe he didn't want to play here, maybe we didn't want him to play here, maybe his Great Grandmother hates JJ and prohibted it, who knows. The fact is, he is not here and I for one am not going to concern myself with someone who is not playing for the Cowboys.

Of course, I don't have "I hate all things Cowboys" agenda like some people around here.

Please. This is pathetic. The one-legged man enters the butt-kickin' contest.

Dockery's contribution? Nothing. Zip. Zero. Nada. Nothing. Your IQ.

While Waters is playing at a high level for the best offense in the league.

Let me know the next time you'd like to be completely, totally, and utterly embarrassed and I'll be happy to oblige.

:eyepoke:

And there he goes, careening off the road yet again...

You are a full crap load...the point is you have proven nothing to the detriment of Dockery. For starters, in discussion, he acquitted himself well in a quick entrance as a starter in a full game. That was without benefit of working in and with the Cowboy players. He was injured, so your conjecture of anything approaching your proclaimed failure and lesser value is baseless.

That's a topical approach based upon presented facts or considerations, beyond your own arrogance.

As to play by Waters, present some source of reference beyond your burn barrell jargon of great social reference. Do something contributory beyond strutting and spouting what you suppose is merit...what you do here is approach an abstract concept and then act is you are deliverance unleashed in your own view, not evidence in support of which.

Maybe you could approach why Buffalo, of all teams, created havoc in that same New England line, that possessed the likes of Water. And then project how he will do up against Jay Raliff, instead of the tap dance and name calling you have continually returned to doing.

Or maybe for once, do some of burden in showing valid proof such as a scout's report of current play or in statistics of performance from another site...as if posting articles of such sources was a mental demonstration of a lack of value. As you rush to consistently insult accordingly.

Naw, you deserve all the toil thrown your own way on topic...as you ignore the real dicussion as well as proving merit in your own stances, beyond crying about something.

No one yet, has tried to object to the ability and experience that Waters brings to any table, whether New England or not. But you don't even see that....now prove YOUR case that Derrick Dockery, Bill Nagy, Phil Costa, and even a diminished view on Kyle Kosier are a worse scenario to begin with.

Blowhart, let's go...go ahead and ignore your way out of the real discussion presented.

Do this 'child' a favor.

Show me all of those 'facts' you refer to.

Put them in one thread so that even I could understand them.

Thanks in advance.

The game against Oakland was in the middle of a 5 game stretch in which Waters really struggled in the run game. He also had a bad game in the season opener against SD and later in the season against Tennessee.

The reason that the Cheifs have struggled running the football in 2011 is that Barry Richardson and Ryan Lilja have fallen off the map. Jon Asomoah, who replaced Waters, hasn't been any better than Waters was.

Whatever makes you feel better.

Reality shows me that they ranked number 1 in rushing yards with him and suck without him.

Check yourself. He had one bad game against Oakland that some used to assess his entire season.

And yet, somehow the Chiefs were able to overcome his abysmal play and still run for more yards per game than any team in 2010?

Shocking that once they unloaded the waste known as Brian Waters that their effectiveness running the football has plummeted rather than improved?

Peculiar.

And yet reality somehow tells us differently....

And riddle this, Batboy...why, facing an upgrade towards what was supposed to be a challenging and playoff projection, that the same, Mr. Waters was shown the doors in Kansas City? Even if they presently flounder as to the Eagles...

Yeah, I'm the guy with 'heresay' while every other Dallas Defender will try to concoct any cockamamee excuse they can dream up to cover for the obvious blunder.

If there had ever been mention of Dallas showing any level of interest and he ultimately decided to go to New England, sure I'd accept that. But if you wanna talk about baseless speculation, look no further.

Everything you said MIGHT be true, but to just assume that your logic is what happened is stupid at best. Obviously, hence your presence telling me about it in this thread...

Feel free to continue to post in this thread that you don't 'concern yourself' about.

Simple 'boy wonder', like you on an hourly basis, they were wrong.

In case you haven't noticed (and you likely haven't), the Chiefs have been wrong about many of their recent decisions.

Kid? Know what the difference between a person in County and Federal lockup is?

At the Federal level, you can't pile drive a straw up their posteriors because they are locked so firmly.

But discussion is a way to overcome what is supposed to be a lack of view. You present nothing but insult..with little leading away from that very fact. And you claim someone else is childish?

I'll take your word for that as the voice of experience.

Please. I'm the only guy here presenting facts, while other people are giving me ifs, buts, and maybe's.

Again, to recap for the reading impaired:

They had the chance to sign a talented lineman, they passed, and now they'll have to face him this weekend.

Even you should be able to understand that.

Crying over milk that was spilled a year ago. Spoiled milk at that.

If I cried and bawled over everything that I THOUGHT the Cowboys should have done in the past...well, it would be embarrassing to say the least.

Crybabies....grown up crybabies. Poor things...I don't feel sorry for them, I don't pity them, I laugh at them, crying over spilled milk. Crying over things that they think they know about, when the opposite is true...they don't have one clue as to what goes on inside the minds of the one's that run the show...however, they sure know better as to what should have been done...as they look down at the spilled milk.

Sad....

You know what the visibility of your continual 'excuses' are? ZERO METERS.

The remedy for the case you present was already disproved in the post that you just ignored. But if your eyecue were elevated two points here, you could then be classified as sedimentary rock. Instead of the building stone your hokus pokus routine belies.

Now reread your discussions upon topic in the above quoted reply by YOU. You are not an ounce beyond a belowing calf in a field seeking to find his mother. Mooo, Moooo, Moooooo!

And he was released for the very same reasons that Marc Colombo, Leonard Davis, as well as Flozell Adams before the previous year. Long of tooth and short on shelf life, well beyond salary expectations. How come Adams isn't still with Baltimore this season? Oh yea, he was released again as well.

Just do us a favor, don't have the nerve to be surprised when thing turn out badly.

You forfeit that right when you turn your brain off and blindly follow everything the team does without question.

If you're going the 'mindless zombie' route, at least be consistant.

:mummy:

And don't feel bad, you have plenty of company.

You guys whould get matching jackets made.

For record, yes, I have delivered a prisoner into a Federal level of lockup...so wise up 'smart arse.'

No, no facts have been presented to the present beyond your on version of 'Fractured Fairy Tales.' Remember Bullwinkle the Moose? And that was initially to be an adult cartoon. You present your own view and then merely resort to insult, instead of proof.

I did not specifically address my post towards you, but I see that the shoe fit.

And that reminds me of this little gem that I'm sure you have to have heard before...

"Never argue with a pig...you both get dirty, but the pig likes it."

Carry on...

I just wonder why it does any good crying about something that is said and done and cannot be changed?

Why?

It's a waste of time IMO. But, somewhere a mother loves them.

Funny, I once had a pig named Arnold. And when he became a hog, he would climb over fences instead of rooting under as most other pigs. And a pig becomes a hog at 125 pounds by weight. That didn't keep me from getting a call from neighbors to come get that pig from rooting in their yard. :D

Nice.

Also hard to argue when you don't have anything to add to the argument.

And this topic is getting a heckuva lotta play for such 'unworthy subject matter'.

But you 'carry on' too, I'm sure there are better more relevant topics worthy of your infinite wisdom elsewhere.

Me, I'm enjoying talking about this subject.
