Boy you defend Street every chance you get X. It's not about what he did do, its about what he Can't do.
I don't think he is great; however, I don't think there is any proof yet that he can't be a decent player. That penalty was not a bad play by him. He actually appeared very diligent on that play where he was working hard to avoid blocking to soon and he actually didn't block too soon because it was a bad call. I'm fairly certain that he executed that play exactly as they had designed it and exactly how they coached him to do it. It's on the coaches to some extent when they run those plays because some of them are inevitably going to get penalized. Any delay on the part of the Center-QB and whoever is receiving the ball on that play will likely cause a penalty.
In past games this season he has had a bad ankle.
People wanted to cut Dunbar all off-season and then realized that he actually could play. It's possible that Street is in the same situation.
