He had 3 drops too. That's half as many as Dez with a ton fewer receptions.15 catches last year. Go light the world on fire.

Ya,I caught that flash of brilliance in the exposé myself.Butler may be a jag but him sharing a he views of the team is awesome for my entertainment purposes.
We all saw it.. Dak isn’t good at throwing to his X & Z. Coaches never adjusted with Beasley and The players had To sit through stubborn coaching.
I think the team has checked out on Garrett and the organization has set us back a year by bringing back this staff.
Brice was singing a different tune about the Cowboys on an interview I heard with a Phoenix radio station (This Monday). He had nothing but good things to say about the Boys and Dez Bryant, even said that Dez wasn't really a diva type in the locker room.

Que sera sera.......
Give him the PUTTY awardYa,he wasn't targeted near enough & he knows it,but still I could only handle a little over 4 minutes of his brilliant footballish acumen on display, pretty sure the remaining 28 minutes were similar,,, hope he picks up another single year contract from some team ,,,I liked yer' play on the field #19.
So did Alvin harper...until he became a number 1 and teams paid attention to himEven with limited stats, Butler had more impactful plays than Dez and Williams. But you're right, he wasn't very consistent.
So it's of a safe assumption that you've actually suffered the entire 32 minutes of forward exposé?I think he's genuinely on good terms with all the Cowboys WRs. He just doesn't have a filter, for better or worse. Like letting it slip that Beasley has club music floating around with inappropriate content under a fake name. He's just...forthcoming.
It was interesting to hear his suppositions about Dez' playing time being protected by Jerry. I'd assumed his vague comments previously were all in regard to a spat between Linehan and Dooley, but it sounds more like that went from Jerry to Jason to Linehan to the receiving room.
It was also interesting that he was referring to 'we' when he said a lot of that. So it's probably not just his opinion.
Whatever was going on on the offensive side of the ball last year, it doesn't sound like it was all that functional.
Brillance= PUTTYYa,I caught that flash of brilliance in the exposé myself.
Here is a big reason Brice has been allowed to move on. Think before you speak koidoesn't seem to register with him. Throws everyone under the bus. Watch as he talks himself right out of a job.

I think that is false. It's your opinion, but I disagree. Butler had his chances and could not take advantage. When Noah Brown was getting more snaps than Butler, that said enough right there.
Rod Woodson in that segment with Shannon Sharpe and Bayless seemed to imply that Butler was the WR that concerned them going into that game because Woodson repeated Butler's name a few times.
My take was that Woodson was saying that when Dez was the only WR/TE on one side of the formation that Dez got double coverage basically by default because they were not worried about TWill/Witten/Beasley but at the same time he kept mentioning Butler's speed. My conclusion was that they would have "rolled" the extra Safety over to help if Butler had played which would have meant single coverage on Dez. Butler was out with an injury that game.
Butler's issue on the field is that he appears to be a limited route runner.
But no butterGive him the PUTTY award
Precisely my brethren! That #46 broke out bad in an engorged manner after the halftime break on the ground attack! Most notably on that right collapsing flank, apparently that's not what was envisioned,,,Only watched the first 10 minutes, where it was all Cowboys.
Butler's analysis of our problem was exactly right. Teams forced us to beat them with the wideouts, and between the coaches, Dez and Williams, and Dak, in that order, they had no answer.
And they should have given Butler more opportunities. He was producing in his limited opportunities, and he was our only player designed to hurt teams deep against single coverage.
"Allowed to move on". Pretty clearly, he wanted to move on. And he should have. If the team didn't use him last year, where he was made to solve the immediate problem, they were unlikely to ever use him.
Particularly when the coaching staff didn't change at the top, it was time for Butler to move on for Butler.
Good point about Morris' low carries despite high rpc in the 3 game losing streak. I guess they could argue that we got behind, and so needed to throw, but I've never really been impressed with that argument til the 4th quarter, particularly if you're a running team. And have a defense that wears down if put on the field too much.
I remember at one point, I think in those games, they started 2 or 3 TE sets and the running game started to click. Naturally, the coaches quickly put a stop to such nonsense.
So we should have 30 receivers and throw to them 12 times or lessButler was the most productive WR, per target, by far. He took advantage of the opportunities given. Too few were given.
"COPY",,, IT'S SHAMEFUL!Butler was the most productive WR, per target, by far. He took advantage of the opportunities given. Too few were given.
