I don't think any of these guys are 1st round QBs. Reminds me of the 2011 NFL draft (besides Newton). Lots of reaches, including Locker, Gabbert, and Ponder.

I think this year's QBs are better. I don't think anyone thought Cam was going to lite it up in NFL. Locker got drafted completely bases off performance of the year prior (1 year wonder). Gabbert is plain awful. All his passes in college were 5-15 yd routes. Ponder was a shocker pick by a desperate team.

Teddy is a 3 yr starter. Johnny is a two year started.....definitely has more track record than those in 2011.

Trade the pick and snag some extra picks from a team.

I would rather have great defensive depth, then a QB at this moment.

If we could get a lot of picks in the current draft, then absolutely yes do it.

If any of the top three QBs are there (Bortles, Bridgewater, Manziel), I would hope Dallas grabs them.

Do you REALLY think that even with red flags the Vikings pass on a top 3 QB?!?! Not me ... no way Bridgewater makes it past the Vikings pick.

You guys have unrealistic expectations from a 1st red Qb,Andrew lucks of the world only come around once in 10 years.

He'll be a top 5 pick.

I'm not so sure now.....that pro day was hideous . First thought that came to mind was Geno Smith 2.0. When the Jets took Smith in the 2nd round last year everyone thought they got a good deal. Now....I bet the Jets wish they could have that pick back. If Geno could slide out of the 1st.....why not Bridgewater?

this is also reasonable
we could get a kings ransom from a team like the browns if dont pick QB with their forst pick

There is great tape of Bridgewater playing in a pro style offense for 2 straight years.....Geno played in a gimmick offense and his ability to read defenses and even take a snap under center were a mystery. With that said, I'm sure the Jets still have no regrets on taking Geno in the 2nd. He was a rookie playing on a terrible offense with 0 weapons. Not all hope is lost for him yet.

he has been compared to andrew luck many times because like andrew, he's one of the few college QB's that ran his own pro style offense in college.

I just looked at the film of his pro day and there are some RED FLAGS ... However at 16 I'd take him without blinking because he wouldn't have to start for another 2 or 3 years, that's plenty of time to work on those flaws/weaknesses.

That's exactly why we wouldn't take him in the first. Too many other needs now. The same goes for the other QBs in my opinion. I don't think we touch a QB until 4th at earliest, if at all.

I have no idea of his character or leadership which is huge for the QB position. I only saw him play a few times and I thought his offensive he played In was sort of boring. But I thought he threw beautiful passes. He looks really good when he lets it rip.

Although there is so much more that goes into a great QB.

If your scouts liked him before the bad workout and he's there, you have to take that risk, don't you?
