1. From the looks of their faces, the Eagles were beaten at halftime. It was almost painful having to play the 4th quarter as even the announcers knew the game was over.

2. Colombo played a very good game, and it makes us more powerful and experienced for the Vikings...besides, Free is more valuable on the sideline as he can now backup both tackle spots.

3. Crayton did a really fine job on the punt returns last night, though he didn't look like he had anything for the punter on that one on the sideline.

4. McBriar was awesome with the early punts inside the 20 instead of pounding the endzone.

5. The Vikings are a better team than the Eagles...it will be a good matchup as they are tough to run on inside due to those great DTs...the delayed draw won't work unless it's used just to slow their pass rush...I think Felix can find room to run outside.

6. I guess I'm not a good NFL fan...I hate Favre, always have, and I'd like nothing better than for us to break him in half...He's awfully good at getting rid of the ball fast and he doesn't get sacked often...but I'd love to see us truly break him and drive him into permanent retirement.

7. I think we'll play Sidney Rice the way we played Jackson...Rice will still make some physical catches, but it will keep him from going the distance. Scandrick played very very well last night...he's being a little overlooked due to Jenkins great play, but Scandrick on Percy Harvin will be a key matchup in the game, along with Sensabaugh on their TE.

By a lot.

Favre drops back 40 times and we win, they can't pass protect worth a darn and their run blocking has been suspect as of late.

Jared Allen has virtually disapeared, Winfield is banged up, and their defense has been slightly overrated IMO. They have massive DTs that cause problems but our offense isn't one dimensional and we have found ways to adjust.

I was born and raised in Mississippi like Favre.
I attended and am an alumnus of The University of Southern Mississippi like Farve.

I love Brett Favre. He's my homeboy and fellow alumnus but may our Boys bring him much pain next week. Nothing personal, just business Brett.

Typical playoff scenerio or their game a month ago, I'd agree. But it's funny, they were struggling when they kept forcing him the ball. Most of the game announcers were applauding them that they finally found out who they were offensively, a passing team. They started passing first and running him much more infrequently.

It'll be interesting to see what they decide to do as their game plan this week. AP scares me if they decide they're going to feed him the rock 20+ times, but I'd love to get a quick lead like we have been doing because I don't think they're very patient.

Hopefully our guys are still extremely hungry to reach that championship game. They talk like they aren't done yet...I hope that's true.

They are going to want to keep our offense off the field - he gets no less than 22 carries.

I am with you, I've never liked Brett Favre, possibly because the media fawns over him all the time.

The guy is tough and has a big arm but we have beaten him a lot over the years, particularly in the playoffs. I know we won't be playing him in Texas Stadium, where he struggled almost every time, but I still believe that we will beat the Vikings.

Andrea Kramer said it at halftime. All the Philthy players had their heads down and acted like it was over.

I agree with you, other than right now, I just can't see anyone scoring 20+ points on us, unless we have special teams breakdowns or turnovers. I think the Cowboys win, becuase we can get to the mid-twenties in points on anyone, and I just can't see anyone getting more than 17 on us. Peppers abused McKinnie a few weeks ago, so obviously our match up with Ware looks pretty good, and I don't think Phil Loadholt is ready for Anthony Spencer. They can't keep Shiancoe in to block because he's one of the main receiving options. I like our chances.
