Yea, forget the 37 on that stupid Wonderlic test. The backwards hat thing is all you have to see when judging someone's smarts.
Romo looked so Gangsta with his hat on backwards , just like Donnie Walburgh from New Kids on the Block. A REAL REBEL!!!

Romo always looked like some twelve year old kid who got dropped off at the mall by his parents with his allowance money. You could find him at the arcade or thinking he was the King of the Food Court.
Good boxer too (started young as his Dad boxed in the service)
at 6'2 230...he'd stomp your trash talking tail and not skip a beat
You guys are just silly

Romo has been called out by CBS for not putting the work in. How is that going to parlay into an NFL Head Coach gig?

Face it, Romo didn't care about Superbowl rings . He really wanted to be a backup singer to Justin Timberlake.

You know who I want as coach? I want a guy like Keith Brooking. If any of the players mouth off ,Brooking would just punch them out. I want Mike Ditka's clone if there is one. We need a hot tempered coach who gives it his all and won't back down.

So you went to the arcade and food court a lot?

Not a mind reader but I believe Tony Romo would not give a real, bona fide job offer from Jerry Jones even a tiny amount of serious consideration. Romo has both witnessed and experienced Dallas Cowboys' meritocracy first-hand. Ain't no way he will repeat that mistake. Just my two cents.

Me. It was said/inferred/bandied about many many times by many different players. Romo was known as a poor leader and not all that well liked by his teammates.

If someone doesn't remember this then they simply weren't paying attention, maybe cherry picking what they wanted to hear, using confirmation bias as to who to read/listen to.
Eh, players getting told to do better are going to gripe about someone.

You also had Witten loving Tony, and heck, TO cried on national TV for Tony.

My point is, you can walk into any office and find team members who hate their leader and team members who love them.

Romo as head coach? We didn’t win anything with him as the QB. The names that are coming up are becoming more laughable by the minute.

Tony has the perfect job and gets paid a fortune. You'd have to be an idiot to give it up to work 18 hour days for a pyschopath.

If I was Tony I’d tell Jerry and company to take a long walk off a short pier. The way they tossed him aside like garbage was disgusting and everything that has happened since is karma biting back.
please, teams do that all the time, this is right up there with someone on X claiming Jones getting old and dying will be karma for firing Landry

Tony Romo correctly reads a defense while commentating on TV.

Silly Cowboy fans - "Wow ..... Tony knew exactly what was gonna happen! He should be a coach!"

All the while ignoring all the other things that a coach has to know how to do.

Tony may be a great coach one day if that is something he wants to do ........ but not just because he can read a defense and offense.

That's not a reason at all. Many successful NFL head coaches weren't NFL players at all, and of those that were not all won anything as an NFL player. That clearly is not part of the criteria to be a quality NFL head coach.

Now, if you cited lack of coaching experience and Romo showing no desire to be a coach, those would be legitimate reasons.
