Bring Back Linehan Ball Control

Some could argue Linehan hasn't left.

When Moore was insta-promoted to QB Coach, the organization and fan base argued that Moore was Linehan's guy, that Linehan had him in Detroit before Moore came to Dallas, and that Moore was familiar with his offense.

Yuck. No. Are you kidding? If anything, we should be dusting off the Run ‘n Shoot.

Dak is at his best with less attempts. We need balance. I know the Oline is not what we had, but don't we help the oline with more balance? And when Zeke gets as many pass targets as rushing attempts, please. Zeke needs 25 rushing attempts / game. If the offense has 70 plays in a game, Dak should have 40 attempts - tops.
Rushing yesterday was not possible my man if it wasn't for Dak airing it out this game wouldnt have even been close

All i've seen in the Kellen Moore era is an increase in 3 and outs; less time of possession; more gaudy numbers from Prescott but less efficiency. Prescott in 13 games of 40 plus pass attempts in his career, we are 4-9. Let that sink in. Yet we have a head coach worried about "stepping on Moore's toes" because he doesn't want to disrupt the rhythm the offense had last year. Yesterday's game was so poorly managed right from the beginning (and yes, i know they took their first drive, drove down and settled for a field goal), but they never got Zeke involved early enough. The tendencies to put it all on Dak's arm from the "get-go" are not a recipe to win. And yes, the O-line is not the same, but what about RPO's, draws, sweeps to help kick start a ground game to give you balance. Keep the defense off the field. There are lot of good running games that don't have hall of fame lineman on their o-line. I enjoy everyone's comments and thoughts. As rough as today is, always good to talk Cowboys.

agree.

It will keep the D off the field.

that’s what we did in 2014.

it works.

As a few others said, the OL is not what it was years ago. Not even close. Look at the relative scrubs out there.

Doesn't help a lot that Zeke has way more mileage on him than he did, too. He's young but he's taken a ton of hard hits the last few years.

I think Biadasz is for real.
