How bout a tale from the Austin days to lighten the somber mood. Me and my friend get on the shuttle bus on the way back to parking lot, there were all these really shady guys selling supposedly an autographed photo of Landry, my friend and I are discussing if he bought the"last one" the guy had and I wanted one if the guys would pull out another"last one" from the back of his truck, anyway we get on the bus and my friend says "hey I got Troy aikman and Emmitt Smith"(he was kidding)so this kid behind us could hear, anyway he just blistered his old man for the whole ride about how come we didn't get any autographs, we just kept it up I told my friend I got so and so did you see him. anyway we still talk about the "ride" and the stuff from Austin. We fully realized at the time that we were seeing the Cowboys at their peak, there were people from California and everywhere in between. I remmeber ther were tourists from England out in the heat at 4:30 pm in August, they were falling faster than the parimedics could help them. seriously there were people with infants out in the heat it was ridiculous..Oxnard blows, keep em in Texas somewhere they're not the freaken Oxnard Cowboys...
