Favre leaving a team and town where is an idol to finish his career as a bench warmer in a new town with a new team ......

Just what we need, another senior vet QB who throws lot INTs. At first I couldn't believe anybody seriously would suggest this. Obviously your not following the news. It was only a few weeks ago that Favre made it very clear by publicly stating he would never rpt never play for another NFL team and he wanted to retire as a Packer. Geez. Besides Favre has clearly shown (reportedly in various media outletes) he not interested in tutuoring anybody. Besides he and TO would probably get into a fight over whose PC attracts more attention, etc.

We do need backups for Romo cause we only got Bledsoe if Romo gets hurt and runs into unexpected problems this year. If Romo shows he can play at the level of a starting NFL QB, we'll bring in a vet (maybe somebody in his late 20's/early 30s) in 07 as #2 backup and sign a young QB for develop (draft/undrafted FA).

How much money would his salary be and would you not have to give up too much to get him away from GB? Bad idea, the league needs an injection of young talent at QB not the same geriatrics trotted out every year for "one more role of the dice".
