Broadcast thoughts

I wonder if they mic the crowd. That could be a good way to get some noise but not make it fake.

17k fans is a lot. And its not to say that they didnt put microphones in the stands to increase the affect of the crowd noise.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Again, during the game I really didn't notice much of a difference than last year.

did the Cowboys say how many are actually being let in at ATT? will it be louder with open or closed roof?

i can see that think about it this way, in a Normal crowd on a home game , how many of the crowd at ATT is for opposing teams? somewhere between 15-20k im assuming..

have you ever been to game or even when watching on TV, you can hear those 15-20k cheer and what not when their team does something great, its very loud, the chants just from them are very clear..

so now 15-20k of just your own fans can be loud enough i presume..

No I've actually never been to a game! It's on my bucket list for sure.

And I agree wholeheartedly, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would have.

I've been watching MMA for months without any crowd noise, and that was interesting in itself. I know it's an apples to oranges comparison, but I'm glad I was expecting different because last night was enjoyable for being so "different" from the norm.

ive got used to watchig the Stars and Mavs playoffs without a crwod on TV and really the game still is the focus so not worried, plus Jerry will put as many as legally allowed in those seats to give us a home field time atmosphere..

It was like any regular season NFL game.
No fake noise and you don't need it if there are 25% plus worth of capacity.
The ones who are there will seem louder. Church echo concept.

If the teams/League pumps in crowd noise I'd equate this to your woman faking her ecstacy moments.

there are not 15 to 20k visiting fans at a normal game. Where do you guys get this stuff from. Those large visiting fans has been a handful of games through the years.

Pittsburgh 04
Kansas City 05
Green Bay 07
Pittsburgh 12
Green Bay 13
SF & Houston 14

those are really the only times the visiting fans had a large contingent in the stadium. You can thank the scalpers...many who post here for that by the way.

ive seen it at Texas stadium and ATT theres a chat ton of fans.. how they know who a fan and whos not is beyond me...

either way my argument is more true why argue semantics its VERY LOUD when that entire opposing fan group cheer and boo and chant..

as usual you like to argue and be right, my point was even with 15-20k fans it can be loud..

you are exaggerating the amount of visiting fans by a lot. I told you which games have had the largest number of visiting fans. One I actually forgot thinking back on it was Denver in 2013. Those are the games people remember there being a lot of visiting fans and then apply that to every game.

the three worst were pittsburgh in 04, the packers in 07 and the niners in 14.

sure 17k fans can make noise and especially in a quiet stadium like last night.

anyone think that KC RB reminds you of MJD- ex jags back short like wrecking ball hard to see and just shoots out of forest of big men..

I call BS for one that each stadium knows exactly whos for or against the home team, zip codes dont work, ticket sales never asked me and if they did tickets are sold and resold..

again you are arguing for my point yet trying to be argumentative for no reason AS USUAL..my point was that even the small amount of allowed fans can be loud and wont be and issue to start season..NO PIPED IN NOISE IS NECESSARY,,

let it go man its all you do is argue..it gets old ..

you know who the visiting fans are by seeing them in the stadium wearing the road jersey and making noise. At least that is what i have done. No idea what you are talking about with the stadium knowing...?

i didnt like that candy corn lookin thing on the field...the graphic they used for down and distance....all we need is the yellow line.
at times it looked like a creepy eye.

because no realistic stats to know im wrong ive seen a chat ton of opposing fans in stadiums especially early on at ATT it could have easily been 15k or more,, theres 90k-110k seats..dont tell me im exaggerating if theres no actual hard stats knowing exactly how many..thats why!

that Detroit game when we were up 24 points going into the 4th and as we blew that game more and more thee Detroit crowd got rowdy and took over the noise levels..there were A LOT OF Lion fans there that day..

Really, did kind of feel like business as usual to me. I will be curious to see what they do/how it is during a game with zero fans in the crowd.

Heard a good one you might like.

After the hurricanes a couple of weeks ago someone on Twitter said “pray for Louisiana and Texas...”

Someone replied “All states matter”

I liked your post for the laugh, (thanks)

IMO. There is nothing that inspires unity more than separating out one group and blaming another for all of that groups woes without taking any responsibility for their own situations, or actions that put them in that situation.

I was there. They were loud and a lot of cowboys fans were loud in disgust that day also. Nowhere near 20k like you said.

again you are generalizing and wrong. I was at every game for nearly 18 years in a row. There are only 82k seats in the stadium also. The party pass group is small and they do not have seats. Only the first game was there a large group of Party Pass fans.
