For those that were able to watch last night, how was the broadcast minus the crowd?

Judging by the highlights it seemed they were able to add the crowd noise for tv and made it work pretty well.

They did not add crowd noise. IIRC they said there were 17k fans in attendance and crowd noise you heard was real.
I heard them say that as well, but it sounded louder than 17,000 fans.

It makes me wonder if the announcers said, "THEY did not add crowd noise" (speaking only for the network itself) rather than saying no crowd noise was added by anyone.

In baseball, most stadiums are adding fake crowd noise over their speakers, so it seems likely that NFL teams might do the same.

I dont know But i saw a QB that showed why he got his big deal and another ill name Dak Watson who basically did nothing most of the game and while in blowout late in the 4th padded his stats to make it appear he had a solid game..

eerily familiar to our own most of 2019..

On the broadcast i heard the noise but the nfl cameras purposely almost never panned toward the stands, you can tell they used camera zoom and angles to avoid showing empty seats..

KC shows why they still are the team to beat and didnt even lay the same as last year, they used a great run game and balanced passing attack to easily beat the texans..score wasnt even close with the garbage TDS toward the middle and end of 4th..

scary how much KC can now play any way they need to..they will be better then last year the way they used the run game, balanced attack and defense to just play under control.

Watson is better than last night.....but you are right he was nowhere for 3 quarters.

another dumb analysis that shows you simply lack the abilities to analyze football or qb play.

Watson was kept off the field most of the evening because of the incredible run game of kc. Watson wound up with 250 yards passing where dak averaged over 320 yards per game.

Mahomes barely reached 200 yards because he didn’t have to. Defense pretty much shut down Houston’s offense until the game was decided. Not to mention the rookie rb ran wild all night averaging over 5 yards per carry. Scored on a 27 yard td run. When was the last time the great zeke did that?

not to mention this was the first game of the season playing the defending champs.

reminds me of trolls like you thinking a rookie qb was a finished product and looking dumb as the rookie developed into a top 10 qb and still rising. :lmao2::lmao:

Once the ball was kicked off I really paid little attention to anything but the play on the field. KC kicking the crap out of Houston was just the cherry on top. lol

I played against the kc rookie back this week. I was pleased to see him get stuffed 9 or 10 times inside the 5. Late in the game also on that last drive by kc. I had kc kicker and after getting stuffed 5 times they kicked a fg with 4 seconds left for a nice 9 point swing. Gotta love fantasy.

I didn’t watch a second of it. Waiting for the Cowboys game. I am looking forward to that because I think this is going to be a really good team. The schedule is a tough one though. It will be great to see a real coaching staff. I just can’t get excited about the NFL right now. Reasons are obvious. I mentioned that on the game thread last night and got a few people in a tizzy. My opinion. Don’t care what others think about it.

How do you think Devin Smith is going to do as the Cowboys slot WR this season? I mean, he was formally introduced and all.

Nice one!!!

That prediction went out the window once we used the first pick on Lamb. But I was surprised he didn't even make the team.

Nice to actually see Wilson be healthy enough to show what he could do. And certainly Garrett's blocking WR beating him out was even more of a surprise.

That's what I thought too.

All I can and will say is that the 17k fans were very loud before kickoff, sadly.

I watched up until midway through the 4th quarter and really didn't notice much of a difference. Maybe there were fewer shots of the crowd? Fine by me. I wouldn't go to a Zoo of football fans, so it doesn't bother me. I thought it was cool to see more of the players interacting with one another on the sidelines, if that was true(cameras showing less of the crowd)

I'm glad that football is back and enjoyed it. Neither team was sloppy, or at least to my untrained eye did they seem so. Sunday couldn't get here fast enough!!

17k fans is a lot. And its not to say that they didnt put microphones in the stands to increase the affect of the crowd noise.

i can see that think about it this way, in a Normal crowd on a home game , how many of the crowd at ATT is for opposing teams? somewhere between 15-20k im assuming..

have you ever been to game or even when watching on TV, you can hear those 15-20k cheer and what not when their team does something great, its very loud, the chants just from them are very clear..

so now 15-20k of just your own fans can be loud enough i presume..
