If we don't sign a FA or draft someone, Waters will be happy to come back after camp

I dont think Waters ever had the surgery he needed on his arm.

Waters was great during his brief time at Dallas but I am glad the coaching staff is ready to move on from Waters and draft his replacement inthe 4th round unless we pick up an extra pick inthe 3rd.

Guard is a deep position in this years draft as well as D Line.

If he is still better than anyone we are set to start then sign him. He brought a lot of attitude last year and looked very good at times. For 1.5m, there is very little risk.

I was all for bringiong Waters back - knowing he would not want to participate in camp at all. More for the experiance and leadership he seamed to provide, than for his play. However, I have changed my view on this, as I now also think we would be best served drafting another guard in this draft and letting Waters retire. The money, the play that he would take away from other players. Its time to move on ....
