LoL. The way this place acts when players get paid and top that off with Broadus being the one speaking the truth?

This franchise has been so sensitive to the cap but has not even been to the NFC Conference game this entire 21st Century

Second: this franchise has NOT NOT NOT been all the good with their draft. Case in point, this past draft has been a complete B-U-S-T.

Being a Dallas fan since 1977, this 27 year drought has been unsatisfactory. I will not buy into this Jerry's FOOLS GOLD anymore UNTIL this franchise can just get to a damn NFC Conference game.
What happened to winning a Super Bowl? It’s not gone unnoticed by Mannix, that the bar has now been lowered to merely reaching the NFCCG….pfffttt!!!

I’m not a total cap is a myth person but the truth is if you’re paying your own guys a lot of money and it’s so much money that you can’t participate in trades or free agency then your guys better be good enough to get you over the hump. If they can’t do it then you need to find new players to pay top dollar to.
The problem is with how the Cowboys structure deals to be re-done in later years, which causes us to keep players 2-3 years longer than we want. This is a recurring theme.

The Joneses are now just owners of a profitable business that happens to be a football team.

They stopped caring about football when their business started to be able to print money.

They are now investors more than owners and GMs.

So Cooks and Gilmore didn't do it for you?
Great aquisitions but Gilmore was never meant to be the number 1. Once Diggs went down he had to move to that spot. Thank God for Bland.

Here is the thing though. It doesnt need to stop there just because they did it. Henry would help this offense tremendously. So would a Brian Burns but thats going to be way to expensive. Id even be looking into D'Onta Foreman. Pollard isnt meant to run into the heart of the defense 20 times a game. Hes a great stretch runner. Need a hammer.

Dallas hasn’t gone all in for many many years. At this point, being fiscally responsible hasn’t paid off. When is enough is enough?

Go spend! Trade draft capital to get players. What does it matter at this point? The problem with Dallas is that they hover around good enough, but haven’t burned it down and started all over.

All of us would take a SB like the Rams had and rebuild.
The Eagles won a SB. And rebuilt. And went to another SB. Before the Cowboys in THIS WINDOW have been to an NFCCG.

Let that sink in. The fact people even try to compare our FO with theirs is laughable.

So Henry for what? A 1st, 2nd.....? Some of fans think it's so easy just to go get one of the best players in the NFL....Pollard isn't that back, many around here kept insisting he was. Regular fans just like throwing crap around and see what sticks. They change their minds as much as they change their socks. I admit, it is pretty funny.

Not all of us.

Some hear sing the same chorus Jerry sings of regular season victories and relevance, divisional round ceilings and having 100 percent ironclad plans in place for getting better.

The risk phobia and standing pat philosophy of we like our guys by the Front office and several posters here is real.

Jerry’s isn’t giving you a job, Ranch.

He doesn’t know you exist.

You defending the way he runs things only makes you look foolish.

Considering our second round pick hit rate. Id send a second to them. I would send a later pick and Sam Williams mainly because I agree with JJ on the dumb player thing. I knew Pollard wasnt that back. It wasnt hard to see.
