Not sure how far Broaddus is think but I'm over him if he drops to 18

This is actually a good topic.

I'm worried that Dallas will stop trying to upgrade the OL because they will have 4 guys paid.

IMO, they need to invest in someone who can fill in for Tyron because he isn't playing 16 games anymore and a upgrade over Cooper would be great too.

Id trade up for him in a heart beat.
Im concerned about both the OG spot and the swing tackle.
If Nelson drops to 19,its a no brainer.
If not,I hope we get Georgia's Isaiah Wynn or Will Hernandez from UTEP(I think) or Billy Price,Ohio St.
Wynn is ideal because if we need him,he could move over to OT in a pinch.
I like JaMarco Jones from Ohio St as a OT....or Austin Corbett,Nevada.

He's better than Martin coming out of ND. If he slides to us, they shouldn't even wait to hand in the card. Just do it.

I wouldn't trade up for him, simply because I think he has a chance at going top 5. Probably doesn't slip out of the top 10, so, I'll pass. If he falls to 15 or so, sure, we have a few picks to use as capital, but I just don't see him falling there.

I'm not sure about that. While Martin projected to guard in the NFL, he was I think a 4 year starter at LT for Notre Dame. Nelson, while he maybe could have played LT, was inside at guard for 2 of his 3 seasons.

You're concerned about both guard spots? what exactly worries you about RG?

He's a better guard than Martin. He's better at his position coming out of college than Martin.

FWIW, both redshirted their frosh years.

dont foget the team should get a couple of descent comp picks this year!!!

I’ll be stunned if he doesn’t go top 10.
I don’t think this team can afford the resources it would take to move up more than two spots, if that, to get anyone in this draft due to their obvious many needs and lack of depth.
I think the real question here is, if he does fall to #19, do you hand in his card within 5 seconds and start high fiving all around you, or do you entertain moving back a few spots in the 1st for an additional 2nd to help address the many holes on this squad?
Me, I’m high fiving!

Cooper wasnt a issue later on in the season, not great, but NOT Green/Bell kinda problems!!!

If Nelson falls to the 19th pick, the Cowboys would be foolish to not take him. He's a legit Top 5, Top 3 talent in this draft.

I agree....but Im concerned about his knee injury...which is now his 2nd...and I thought he was better in run blocking.
If we can get better at his spot in the draft,Im for it.
And not necessarily at 19....Isaiah Wynn,Georgia in Rd 2 or Will Hernendez,Utep in the 3rd.
Id draft a guy....re-sign Cooper...let'em fight it out in camp.
Cooper was better than Green,tho.
