Broaddus: I would trade up for Quenton Nelson

Nelson is on my short list of wants in the first round. Would be a ridiculous OL if he's the pick.

Maybe, but we shouldn't trade up for him. We have a talent and depth problem across the roster.

Unless he drop to mid teens which is almost impossible (barring some injury) I would never give up a second or even more to move up more than three spots.

Despite the improvement, the defense needs help and they cannot win a SB with this defense regardless of how good the oline is.

Like everyone here, top 5-10 talent would take him in a heartbeat if he fell to us. Not trading up. Like the sound of a Will Hernandez in the 2nd-3rd.

If Nelson falls to the 19th pick, the Cowboys would be foolish to not take him. He's a legit Top 5, Top 3 talent in this draft.

Only way they take him is he is sitting there at 19 and the rest of the Cowboys Graded Round 1 picks are gone and nobody else really excites them and they cannot trade down for some oddball reason.

In other words....Very Long shot for the above to happen added with the idea that he is such a good player he will be long gone anyway.

No way I see them trading up for him however.
