Do people still take anything Broaddus says seriously after he's been dead wrong on everything?
1) Said we'd trade up for Barr or Donald,
2) Said we'd trade up for Ealy in the 2nd,
3) Said we'd take Ellis in the 4th,
4) Said we'd take Chris Smith.
I never said one damn thing you have mentioned here. They had a 4th grade on Ellis but they didn't take him. You are the one that is full of BS.

No reason to remove it.
I love me some Broaddus. Answers questions. Posts here on occasion. Gives us print and football with it. Instead of *****ing about him you should just tweet him and ask him what you will. Fair chance you'll get your answer. In fact ask him about how well Bass and Crawford will do and where they will play. Let us know what he says.
Agreed.
We have several members that are masters of the unfactual... and it's good for them to be called out on occasion.

FWIW I don't recall him saying any of those things.
I do recall him saying that we liked Barr if he were there for us to take but I don't recall him saying that we'd move up to do it. I do think I remember him saying IF we were to move up a few spots it would be for maybe Barr but he never said Dallas would.
In fact I'm almost certain any time I listened to him prior to the draft he was pretty set that he believed Dallas would stay put at 16 and take the guy they wanted that was there.
I do recall him saying we were pretty high on Ryan Shazier (i think that's the kids name, that Pittsburgh took) and he believed that was our pick at 16 had Pittsburgh not taken him.
He tweeted something about a week before the draft that we were interested in 3-4 guys (I forget since it's been about two months) and that we were willing to trade up for one of them. He implied it was either Barr or Donald (which is why I said OR). I remember him saying on the second day of the draft when we were rumored to be trading up to look out for a move for Ealy. I can't recall the Ellis rumor since it was so long ago. And this thread right here has a "yes sir" on interest in Chris Smith. I'm not saying every time BB says we have interest in a guy that he loses his credibility if we don't take him. I was just recalling that literally every person he linked us to in the weeks prior to the draft are not on the roster. So go figure.
He was pretty high on both Martin and Lawrence for us, actually, IIRC.

Again...you are full of BS....This is what I posted to start Day 2 of the Draft: I even told you that they were considering trading up for the player-which they did. "Team is hunting that right defensive end and Lawrence is a perfect fit for that role. Can really run when it comes to chasing the ball. Plays with a burst. Has some surprising strength to play at the point of attack. Can get around the corner and cause problems for the quarterback. When on the slant inside, can really be disruptive and showed the ability to be a wrap up tackler. Might have to trade up to Oakland (2-36) to make this happen. Count six teams between them that could use an end."
Same story....what I said about Ealy: "Like Crichton viewed more as a left defensive end but can also see some action as a three technique in the nickel. There are times where you see him really bring it off the edge. When he is on, he can be a disruptive player but when he doesn’t play with a burst or technique he can be just another guy. I thought it was too rich to take him at 1-16 but at 2-47 that now becomes an option. New York Giants and Detroit are teams to watch ahead of Dallas."
If you took the time to listen to our Draft Shows each week, we talked about the majority of the players they drafted. I floated the idea of Zack Martin 3 months before the draft....so if you are going to call me out...get your damn facts straight...Joey....
Lol. Why do I find this so amusing? Funny.
Thanks for reading my work....
Joey got schooled.
I'm not surprised.
