At least we have a side to run to right now with Smith, Leary and Frederick. Last year there was no strong side to run to now looking at the left side of the line it is looking pretty solid. No doubt still need to get decent play from the RG spot but we are futher along now than last season

I agree. OL is not where I want it to be but I do think it is moving in the right direction I also think more guys will be added before we hit reg season.

I would hazard a guess that you need the second practice to validate or invalidate what you saw in the first practice.

The timing of this whole OG thing, as well as BB's evaluations of these OL players, just don't make much sense to me. We're looking for a starter, clearly, and just doing it now, which means it's reasonable that something we've seen recently probably set us off on this tangent. And yet, BB doesn't like Moore's recent work and thinks Bernadeau has looked serviceable in two short practices.

I know some don't take BB's evaluations as gospel, but is he likely to be so far off in his evaluations of both players? Maybe, I guess. I just don't see what the team saw the last two days to send them out to the FA market here again now with Arkin at least looking better, and now that we're starting to get some players back into the lineup. Unless we're IR'ing Livings, it doesn't make sense to me.

I don't think it had anything with what happened the last two days. Vela said that the Cowboys had been working "slowly" on Moore, which sounds like the Cowboys had been on this hunt for more than the last two days.

It's all the injuries. Livings, Bern, Kowalski, Cook. That's what shook their confidence. The team is one injury away from having to start Arkin and maybe that's the most scary proposition for them.
