Bone spurs aren't good and will need surgery. The thing is they can come back and most the time do. This may be the time to let him walk after the season and find his replacement.
Resign Parnell for cheap and if a OT is BPA go at it.

When has Broaddus been right about anything this year?

I'll give him some credit here.

Bryan Broaddus never expected Doug Free to play in the wild game against Detroit, even after Jason Garrett said he expected the injured RT to return to practice on Wednesday during his Monday presser.

We will see ....... seems like they would put him on IR if this was true.

Agree and for a person who has had them they can hurt like hell.

Not good to hear. Parnell tries but bad technique vs both run and pass compared to Free. There's a drop off.

That said, aside from today, offense has been rolling. I don't think Green Bay is so good off the edges that Parnell will matter. You can always help him out with the TE.

I think they'd only to do that if there was zero chance he could return before the SB. Realistically who else could be brought up to take his place and contribute on the 46-man active roster.

You just wait and hope he can come back. If he can't then Parnell plays.

I have a gut feeling based on the way this FO has gone about things the last few years that they'll only bring back Free if there isn't much demand for him and they can get him cheap. They seem to deplore paying age. They didn't pay Hatcher last year after 3 straight Pro Bowl caliber years including a double-digit sack year at DT.

I do hope Free gets healthy and can contribute. He has been a major cog in that OL.

Say what you want but Free not being in has affected us not only in the running game but also pass blocking. I think he is somewhat better than Parnell.

They have Peppers rushing from that side, idk if Parnell can handle him

Parnell isn't even in the same zip code as Free. Free is a very solid under appreciated player by the fans. I Think if he was healthy and played today the running lanes would've been better and the pass blocking would've been way better. I don't have the all 22 or the break down I'm just going by the eye ball test

I suffer them too. Sucks for him, a frustrating issue to have to deal with. . This sucks...free is more important than most want to admit. The o line clicks more with him In there. I bet Parnell gets several holding calls next week he wasn't flagged for this today.

come on that not fair. He actually still has alot of inside sources. It's not like the just throws things out there. He hears them first from cowboy personnel and then hints at it on air.

marginally. The thing you miss with Free is leadership he provided to very young group.

Its funny how Free would be on his butt half the game 2yrs ago. He looked like he would end his career on a bench..Now we praying for his speedy recovery.. Lol He is a prime example of how hard work & never giving up pays off... Never quit

He is OK in pass coverage... he is a brawler on the run game...
